"Trade Context Is Busy" IBFX

I got this email from IBFX:

"Trade Context Is Busy"

You receive “Trade context is busy” when you try to process two or more orders at the same time.

If you have placed a trade and do not wait until it processes completely and then try to place the same trade or a different trade the commands go into a loop and you get “Tread context is busy”. The only solution is to close down the platform and restart it.

Several of the EA's I am testing close several trades at the same time. Is this a practice at all brokers or just IBFX? I have a live account with IBFX that I have not funded yet and now I most likely will not fund due to this restriction.

Also will this error show up on a demo account or just a live account?

That is not a broker issue that is a Mt4 issue.

Can you ge this error if you are only running one EA at a time? I read that the way to avoid this error is to only run one EA at a time on a chart.

Yes, in fact you can get it manual trading just doing a regular market order.

I have been running a EA on a demo account that regularly closes several postions at once. I guess this error does not show up on a demo account. Thanks for the responses.

Yes, I don't care what the brokers say Demo is diff than live in a lot of aspects.

just have your EAs check if trade context is busy before placing any orders. Dont know how then read the help manual that came with the software. You can run as meny EAs as your computer can handle if they are coded correctly.
