Yes, mbtrading is now offering a demo, but the feed is frozen with no notice, for updates etc. Its dangerous for scalpers as well.

Can anybody explain why their Market order canNOT have SL and TP set as in regular MT4? Personally, I think this is a trap! You have to enter martket without SL, only after you have entered market then add SL, this, if you trade in a volatile situation like news release, that's equal to suicide. From this point, we can clearly identify MBtrading is a real ECN or NOT. Ducascopy is an ECN and it can have SL and TP when set market order! (At least in demo, I have NO real acct with them)

Most ECN's cant have a TP or SL or them (I've never used one that let you put it in). you just send the OrderModify() directly after. no biggie.

Tried to use a EA with SL/TP; no way. That's bad...

That's why there is a choice of brokers at all times.

You want ECN quotes, with low spreads?
Then you learn to work with having to modify your order for SL and TP, post market order.

You want an EA to set SL and TP at time of order?
Then this broker is not for you.

Simple.

You have choices.
Doesn't make it "bad" ... it just means it might not be suitable for your trading style/needs.

For MY trading style, this gets the thumbs up!
ECN, with 0.1 lot size, Eastern Standard Time server and MT4 ... perfect.

Hey Justin,
I apologize, but I was not able to attend the Webinar for MT4 on Thursday. Will you be posting a summary of any news that came out in it?

PS, I am getting ready to open a live account, I think I'll just use the existing platform and not wait for MT4 to become available. I'll just use it for charting in the meantime.

I hope MB can meet the capital requirement. I'm sure it will be easy to meet if MT4 with ECN is implemented successfully.

My next account will be with MB.
