prasxz - spreads will vary depending on the volatility of the news announcement, but if you have been monitoring them from a live account now or our website, they will be the same in MT Live.
I traded MBTrading with the Navigator platform. I can tell you, don't be fooled into thinking that this is such a good deal. MBTrading's commissions are very high for an ECN. You might get half a pip spread on EURUSD, however you have to pay $1 each way...so in essence you are paying 2.5 pips to open and close a EURUSD trade of 1 mini lot. You might do better trading on oanda with commissions like that. I can say that many Currenex platforms charge alot less on commissions, it is really amazing MBTrading can get away with charging such high commissions really. BTW, You can already get ECN spreads on MT4, here Forex Broker - Metatrader 4 - No dealing desk - Currency Demo Trading - ATC Brokers
this is plugged into HotSpot, and I heard they were going to add Currenex as well. So you would get liquidity from 2 sources, instead of just thru 3dfx which is the liquidity provider that MBTrading uses.
Just to note: ATC requires a minimum account of $5000 for a mini account, and doesn't offer microlots ($1,000 lots). From their website...
"...Built upon ATC Brokers own Forex ECN (Electronic Connection Network) and integrated directly to providers using our own STP, (Straight Through Processing), the combined benefits of local server integration directly at our provider's locations, creates an optimized combination of benefits that cannot be attained elsewhere."
Hmm. Still sounds like a metatrader market maker to me. I don't see any commissions being charged. So how do they make money?
Its funny, all these traders that don't want their broker to make money, looking for the tiniest spreads on a dealing desk. The broker has to make money, or go out of business. I'm more comfortable knowing how they do it, than trying to guess why I'm getting slippage on an order.

No, I don't work for them.
ATC charge 40 cent per trade. MBT charge around 50-70 cent per trade. MBT need to be more competitive on that and need to hook up with more source. This should bring in alot of ppl for you guy. THAT IS WHAT WE ALL WANT. A better broker.

atc spreads sucks though. does 50 per trade on way or two way. it seem metatrader it acts like one way. then it not too bad.
I have a MBT Demo acc on MT4 and i put the _rdb_ EA's on it!!! The Spreads on MBT is 0.00000 (5 digits after the dot). Here i made a picture !!
Look at the Your_Lucky.. on the right site is Spread "1" and on the left is "9"..
What should i put on MaxSpread??? cause the EA's didn't tradet yet.
Regards,
Marc
I got MBT Demo today (Thank you Justin !) and have the same problem. So far I have no trades at MBT Demo. I am running the same EA with the same settings on FXDD MTXtreme Demo and have 3 trades at this moment. Can anybody explain this ?
I've tried without fixed stops and then reasonable 30 and 100 pip stops without success. My ea works fine with other brokers with both 4 and 5 decimal price quotes.
Is there anything unusual about the MB Trading configuration that MT4 users should know about or am I missing something?
