Never checked if they have some sales representative office in UK exist, but this is russian brokerage house and all of their support peoble are located in Russian, in west part of russian in the city called kalingrad to be exact (which is near Poland and near all of those other eastern european states. Off the topic; Kalingrad city is famous because of itīs WW2 history).
Most of their customers are propably russians also.
They are regulated in russian, nowhere else (which might sound a bit untrustfull, but at so far havenīt had troubles with them).
Trading execution works ok, itīs not as fast as direct ECN brokerages are with order executions, but doesnīt differ any way from other metatrader brokerages with itīs execution speed either and I havenīt had any troubles with them to compare this specific factor.
Just be carefull with more exotic pairs and delete them from your screen that you donīt accidently hit the orders with them, they do have absolute mad spreads with some pairs, some of them have even 600 pips spreads and youīre killed immediately if you hit one of those over 50 pips spreads pair or worse, much over 100, 200 and 300 pips spreads.
However, this is really not only brokerage house using those absolute mad spreads with some FX pairs with more exotic pairs.
Eur-Usd, Eur-Jpy and etc. most common trades FX pairs spreads are just as regular as anywhere else with the spreads.
To use their website brings a bit troubles pretty often, even itīs translated for english it often gives only russian pages for you when youīre logged in but nothing serious issue anyway.
I will let you know if any troubles with them, but at so everything has worked very well with 3 months experience with them just be carefull with those mad spreads pairs.
To list the factor which I am missing with them is that they donīt have any other US products in their list; nickel, copper, zink, silver.
Also, of cource I am more than interested to hear if any other forum users have any troubles with InstaForex because I do have account with them.
And generally speaking, this concerns not only about InstaForex but many other forex brokerage houses also, but thereīs far less any FX scams exist than peoble seems to think for the reason or another in all internet forums. A real scams are more related for FX systems by itself just like famous Madoff equity case pinpointed out, scams are not related for brokerage houses by itself.
I would bet that peoble who do keep writing these scams post are more than often the oneīs lost their money in this hard business called FX world. There seems to be a lot of scams writing also about FXOpen and propably many otherīs also and I bet that they have absolute nothing other reasons to keep posting these unrelevant messages for 2 reasons only;
1) Writer works for competitor (5 %)
2) Writer has lost his / herīs money in FX trading mainly because of poor risk management or none was never even placed (95 %)
Btw. and to add also, I am also their official IB introducer and everhing has worked perfectly with no problems with money transfers or fees either.
Perhaps itīs time to change your opininion about russian brokerage houses, they are not located in the WestMinister Abbey or WorldTrade Centers, but it doesnīt mean they are any more untrustfull as any other. If you do go to check, most FX brokerages are registered in OffShore Islands and they can run out with your money at any day even official address would be located in your WallStreet.
Madoff was registered, Ex. Vice President of Nasdaq StockExchange. Did it help those customers who lost money because of his scam ?

Commercially classified information? Under swiss regulation (where most liquidity networks are registered) you HAVE to provide the list of liquidity providers you are using. Every other ECN does it, so why don't you?

DB and UBS - Minimum trade size 500,000 units or 5 standard lots
Instaforex - Minimum trade size 1000 unit or 0.01 mini lot.
I don't need to comment more about your liquidity providers.
Secondly, you are in no position to name 1 ECN broker which works on your business model - netting and hedging, fixed spreads, requotes, no liquidity depth information and of course still an ECN.

In Russia, Instaforex's forex activity is not regulated by any regulatory body.

Yup, an ECN with requotes and no market depth is indeed great trading conditions and dreams of most of traders

Yup again. Fixed spreads on all and still an ECN. Ask the company to name another ECN with fixed spreads and they would jump to every topic available in the world but would definitely not answer it!

Yes, the FFMS licenses are also absolutely spot on!
It's like you use your brother's two wheeler driving license to drive a truck, claiming that license belong to your family.
Same instaforex does. It is displaying stock broking license given to another company in its "group of companies" for forex trading activity.

Yup.
To you a broker which uses stock license to make people feel that they are regulated may be very insignificant.
To you a broker which claims it is an ECN but couldn't provide name of 1 ECN which works on its model and its shown that their working model is 100% similar to that of marketmakers.

You should better ask Instaforex themselves.
They are just located in Russia and nowhere regulated in Russia. They are just BVI registered.
