I am thinking about opening an account with them, I want a few more accounts to diversify between brokers.

Gets some financial info from them, like are they worth over 2.5 million. If not, stay away from them - High risk of going belly up. If they do not want to provide a balance sheet or a net worth statement, stay away from them!

Check with all the banks that he has posted on the site and see what they have to say. Don't be suprized if they don't know that they are being used for promotion without their knowledge. If hes good then the banks will be your best referance. If hes using these bank logos without their knowledge then I would guess hes just another rippie looking for newbie.

They are Velocity4x IB for retail account and as far as I know Velocity4x is Forex.com's white label.
Anyway ATC are IB.

Here is an email I received from them after I started the account opening process. This email was dated May 5, 2008.

We are no longer offering Forex Retail account; we want to get away from the dealing desk environment.

I work closely with the ATC BROKERS, let me write you some more information.

ATC will be releasing several products with various ECN combinations. There are several really innovative solutions on the way I can't discuss just yet, but the first product is almost ready. First clients should be up and running as early as next week.

Just to be specific. ATC BROKERS is not only an Introducing Broker, they also are Technology Providers (similar as Dukascopy). Product mentioned in this thread evolved from ATC's cooperation with HotSpotFX. As you know HotSpotFX is true ECN broker, but offers many nuissances for most of the traders like low leverage 50:1, only standard lots trading, many disadvantages (like with their API's) etc... ATC has done some incredible work with MetaTrader 4 and ECN feed integration. You will be able to trade standard, mini and micro lots (only for accounts above 10k I think, it's still undecided), start with low ammount, use 100:1 leverage. Trade Execution is superb and they were getting speeds as low as 10-15 ms to execute a trade. Generally anything below 80ms is good, rest is on your internet connection (they were doing connection tests and some ISP's had some serious issues). There are no transaction limits, stops and limits work instantly. You open the account directly with the HotSpotFX (you fill out their account application) and trade on the MT4 from the ATC. HotSpotFX doesn't offer this product, you have to open the account thru the ATC BROKERS. So it should be one of the best MetaTrader 4 solutions that is available out there.

To summarize... they're IB, but they offer whole array of various services and you get an individual approach. It's good to work with them.

I think ATC is the exact type of injection we need in the forex metatrader community right now. There MT4 server layout almost removes the standard MT4 server layout supported from metaquotes & there result is a far more efficient backend of process, from Client orders and delivery/execution into secure forex ECN provider Hotspot. The second provider that there institutional program could be is currenex as they have configured MT4 plugin under this environment as well. (although not anounced, but I do know velocity fx in 2006 were under construction with ATC to deliver currenex but never happened, now forex.com)

I really hope this becomes a success, as the people running this operation know all the doggy dealdesks Etc and no longer want part of this. instead they will provide a service without limitation and they make there cut from commissions, thats it end of story. Like I said if this takes off and performs well then lets hope FXDD, IBFX NF (MT4 Brokers)etc start losing there customers to ATC (if they perform stellar) becasue this market needs a shakeup and hope other brokers will clean there act where there forced into a postion where the competition is becoming harder for them to RIP US TRADERS off and there forced to become GREEN.

currently right now after trading with a lot of MT4 providers (LIVE), ATC is the only choice for MT or trade with someone who it NOT MT4. worst case scenario at least trade with a FCM.

All so for those who don't know but futures traders out there would love ATC's futures package as well. They don't just focus on FX or MT but futures and other software models as well. quite innovative actualy.
