It is nice to hear something from someone that deals or is associated with ATC brokers but I read information about these delays being prolonged over several years, is it a funding problem or something. I am not sure but if ATC do manage to get things ready some day then business will boom, I just hope if you do go fully ECN you are here to stay. We have seen failed attempts come and go when it comes to MT4 ECN feeds. I don't mean just failurs, but totally blown up brokers.
well ATC has been around for quite some time. ATC's leaders are in this bussiness several years. you can check NFA site and search for ATC and it's owners etc... they're clean and there wasn't any complaint nor action taken against them yet. Search, you'll see, they're honest and take it seriously.
I must say, ATC is putting together people who are determinate for the same matter as they are and wants to keep a long-term relationship with them. From what I know, they're serious about this and instead of going away, they're thinking to register as FCM themselves.
ECN connection is being done by connection specialists, they're just building their own "arsenal" of tools. You know it's very hard to deal with MetaQuotes (if you ever called there and wanted something from them, you probably know) and MT4 since they don't provide sources and are very stubborn about any changes and improvements. ATC had to work way around it and they've had some really big issues they've had to handle and I must say were handled well. If you download the demo... in the MT4 mailbox you will find detailed information about what they're currently working on. Just from these messages you can see how it's comming along.
So I would only expect them to grow instead turn back on us traders.
Thanks for the information update. I hope that you add GBPCHF in the future, if demand is sufficient enough for you. I see there is a policy on scalp trading but I was unable to find specifics on what is acceptable.
I have the new demo and I must say speed and spread are impressive so far. There is a commission charge ($8 per lot) but I think that is made up for in the spreads. Definitely considering opening a live account. I believe the Metatrader platform fires through to Hotshot ECN.
