since a month i'am looking for a broker to fund account with 50k.
I red everything possible and turned around every possible solution. Today i have to say that i found no reliable and secured solution using MT4. No ECN, no well capitalised brokers, no seriously regulated brokers (the FX part is always out of regulation), no segregated accounts (the highest safety concerning your money). So i belive, after spending lot of times in learning mql4 and using this amazing platform, that i have finally to switch to a another one. I'am now starting with multicharts which have the ability to convert any tradestation indy and will see. A platform like MC gives me the ability to connect to any ECN (my preffered one is interactive brokers). I'll give to all this a try and post feedback here. But maybe one day we will have a solution cause i think that the NFA requirements are killing retail brokers and MT4 in the same time. Maybe metaquotes will propose a solution like an MT4 PRO with monthly subscription (like any other platform). I like MT4 so much.

can you tell me the advantages of MT4 PRO than MT4?

if you have searched the web you should know that you can link MT4 with IB with the TWS link, just look for it.

Anything can be linked with MT4, it just requires some work with the SDK's. But if you want to play with 50k, you should be able to make that happen.

It seems that (i didn't tried it) TWSlink is not working properly at this time. I believe in this guys, maybe they will make it work in further updates. Did you tried and have some feedback for us ?. You have another thing called traderbullet but not very stable for now.

TWSLink works (mostly) but it is non-trivial work to do even simple stuff with it - it currently provides nothing more than access to TWS functions atm, which are generally, pretty low-level. In fact, the creator has hinted that much needed functionality (read, essential) will only be available in the commercial offering...

No idea, its creator has just made references to it eventually being a commercial product. Probably best to just ask him - he offers very good support presently, even though it's still free - but I found that the more help you require, the more he suggests that 'donations' are accepted!

Which is fair enough of course, as it should eventually be a very good product...

I came to the same conclusion as you did about MT4 last year and subscribed to multicharts...with Esignal feed...

I translated most indicators and systems I found for free that's also how I came across The Rumpled One (TRO) who programmed hundreds if not thousands of indies for tradestation...

Sadly I didn't try the couple multicharts/interactive brokers ... but multicharts still is somewhat beta sure support is there and there is a newer version I didn't try out...

I can help you if you need to convert tradestation indicators to multicharts and hope you'd give me some feedback if there's a way to demo IB/multicharts connectivity....

By the way... did you have a look at strategy runner/MAN financial ?
