this is good for existing "victims" but adds no element of draw in my informed opinion.

Maybe this is old news cause I am always the last to find things out like this, but maybe not, so I just wanted to share it with you all.

I have been doing a demo on the FXCM Trading Station II platform with the NND and interbank pricing. I love MT4 though. While searching their website, I see they are launching their own MT4 platform with FXCM feed in early 2008.

I asked on chat if they will offer micro and mini lots and the same ECN type spreads I see on the Trading Station II platform I see now, and they said yes! With so many under capitalized brokers going under, I am hopeful that FXCM will be a viable alternative.

Several years ago, I tried FXCM and didn't like them. They were getting all kinds of bad press, until lately...now they seem to be polishing up their image. They are well capitalized, correct?

Has anyone here tried them lately, and if so, what is your opinion? I'd appreciate it! Thanks!

they said to me that they will only offer a 0.1 lot size increment and not smaller so this is not a microlot which would be 0.01 lot size

I am currently beta testing an MT4 platform with live Forex data from GTIS -- an affiliate of FT Interactive Data and sister company to eSignal and the primary supplier, for more than 20 years, of foreign exchange information used by traders, corporations and financial institutions. Of course, the price are in line with what is shown on eSignal charting. The volume data as I can see is much different from the usual data we get and are used to from current MT4 brokers. I will keep you all posted on how it progresses. It will also be released in early January, 2008.

At times its better to ignore what people say on threads about brokers but to have an experience with one with a little money.

I have heard alot of scam about FXCM in the past that i was so scared that i thought i was going to lose my money... then i tried MT4(several but on demo) but discover that FXCM is about the best.

Though they have their flaws like others but you can still do good. I almost opened a live account with MT4 broker that doesn't even meet up with NFA capital requirement.

YOu can count the number of MT4 brokers that have meet up with the requirement.

Its good news that FXCM is launching MT4 next year. good for us

Good comment, bro. We can't be sure if we don't try it. They prove it they are No Dealing Desk broker. Who have trade live using their trading station will know. It is definitely a good news FXCM going to launch MT4 next year.

ya mine too, since trade with fxcm its very easy but unfortunately its hard to see 2 things in one time..

i'm trade demo with nothfinance and live with FXCM ( because of non dealing desk)...

hope next year i can gain alot with fxcm when using metatrader 4 ( praying them to use mt4)...please fxcm do that...
