Also, whats the problem with them not allowing Demo's yet? They just began offering MT4 via FXCM feed. I imagine they don't want to get swamped with DEMO accounts. Also, I'd recommend signing up threw FXCM LTD. (UK Branch) because they have segergated accounts per requirements with FSA.

I have a LIVE Standard account with them (not with MT4-FXCM) and I have no complaints as of yet with the "No Dealing Desk"

I always don't recommend trading news releases. Sit back and wait 15 mins and catch the trending moves that follow.. Soo much easier and less risk.

Although they have good execution and spread with me but I think they really have problem in their system.
. First they match me with someone they're supporting about lost password, and they change my password many times. Yes, many times. I can sure my email doesnt stolen or someone login to it other than me.
. Second, they credit my deposit and some hour later, they reversal it without any notice. Another, they remove my winning trade with incorrect vocabulary reason: "erroenous" not "erroneous" What can be stupid than this ?
Now I realize why many people hate FXCM and why FXCM's capital is BIG- I bet 90% of their capital makes from dirty trick with clients.

Are you saying that they gave your account a credit that was not yours???
If that was the case then it appears that they have realised their mistake and also taken back off your account all trades that were executed using those funds,
If that is what happened then it does appear very poor accounting systems if they deposited incorrect funds into your account or worse still if the funds deposited were yours and now for some reason they have withdrawn your deposit along with the successful trades.

i wonder if they would also have rembursed your account if the trades had been unsuccessful???

If your account had more funds than the deposit you mention then they had no right to remove your successful trades.

The other possibilty is that you noticed the deposit in your account and tried to take advantage of it???

Personally i do not like FXCM as i have used them in the past and left them for my own reasons but i do believe that everyone has the right to be treated fairly with a full disclosure of all the facts. That includes both the customer and the Broker.

Who is actually at fault here?????

may be some new person join in FXCM office and done some mistake.
for such a low amont FXCM will not play any game with you. they are big broker. if they are wrong, they will refund it back.
there spread is good, but bad habit of Stop picking if price come close to stop.

I observe there micro divsion offers very good spread and execution.
Offcourse very bad spread during news.

every broker has some some negative feedback, we have to adjust with it according to our style of trading.

Yes, $100 isn't owned by me. But when they refund $100 they took also my trade that I made with my balance before they send wrong deposit to my account How can I accept it
The plaform also does freeze while big news like NFP, I make me have another think of this BIG broker. I plan to choose another broker. How about FXclub, Finodds, Deltastock ? anyone here have experience with them ?

I got email from FXCM about meta4 update and invite me to open an account with mt4 platform. initial deposit is usd1000. anybody got the same email with this?

I got same email too,
but they are not offering demo.
They are telling that FXCM has no dealing desk intervention,
direct feed from banks, etc.
If you can not test this feed on demo how you can trust them????

I would stay away from FXCM. I just opened an account with them several days ago cause I wanted to test there systems out. Well I will be closing my account ass soon soon as I can fund my interactive brokers account.

I usually snatch up 10-20 pips on trades. I usually put in over 20-50 trades on a given day. Depending on how the Market is playing out during the day.

Everything was working all fine and dandy until I almost doubled my account in a couple of days. Now I am not the greatest trader in the world. But I just got extremely lucky on the over 1000 pip move on the GBP/JPY pair that I pressed. It just happened a couple days ago. Check ya charts.

Well ever since then, I guess I must have been labeled or blacklisted or something cause I continually get the "Trade Context Busy" message when I am trying to close out my trades. Not when I enter them. Now when I close out the MT4 platform and opening it back up, it shouldn't give me that message right. Wrong, "Trade Context Busy" again and again. Ive had to goto the FXCM website and open up a chat session, wait until someone finally decides to answer my request. Then they transfer me, then put me on hold. Now remember, I am trading for 10-20 pips. Time is of the essence, so after they take their sweet time, and my trades are no longer profitable..::walla:: they wave they magic wand and now I am able to trade again. WTF.

This has happened already to me twice. Im not gonna let it happen a third.
Plus, thier servers when down today for several hours, October 7, 2008. So here I go again, log into their magical chat system. I ask them if there servers are down, they state yes. When I asked them what is the estimated down time. They could've give me one. WTF

The funny thing was I wasn't as mad as I would have been if I would have had trades in or if I expected something different from them. Good thing that last trade put me above par and now I can go to a real ECN.
