Broker Refund

Hi,

I have close my account with a US based broker one month ago, but until now they have not return my money. I asked the broker in charge, she said that the account department had already "sent out the fund".

May I know how long it takes to make domestic tranfer of funds and what can I do if the broker keep delaying my funds. If you could imagine I am quite upset and worry now!

Your advise is appreciated. Thanks again.

Regards

Domestic transfers from a couple of hours to one day, depending on bank (same brand, etc).

International could take three days.

Nfa........

Have you checked with your Bank? Sometimes they may not have the correct SWIFT Acc. No. and they sit on your money for days - weeks unless you ask. This would be my first approach. Once you know for sure that the money is not with your Bank, then approach the Broker again.

Most Brokers use a 3 working day refund from their office. I suggest you tell them that unless you have your money within 6 working days in your Bank account, you will report them to the NFA. If that does not move them, then you have a serious problem.

Sorry to hear about this, but maybe you should tell us who they are so that people may avoid doing business with them.

Sincerely.
