My name is Andy Geller and I work for a Forex Broker in Scottsdale, AZ. We are EFX Group and we are an ECN Broker.

I am joining this forum, not to promote EFX Group, but rather to watch and learn. I am here to answer any questions, of course, but would most like to talk with traders regarding technical trade set-ups and ideas.

If anyone has any broker questions, I would be glad to answer those as well.

My main goal in Forex Forums is to help educate traders about their choices in brokers and trading strategies. I am hoping through the next few years, we are able to clean up the industry, ridding the world of unscrupulous trading practices.

I asked Justin in the other forum about possibility of adding the QQE indicator to your charting package and or if we do need an indicator other then the usual MACD, MA and Stoch what are the options?

I'm currently waiting for EFX / MB to offer EUR or GBP based accounts and then I'm in. I lost money on my last 2 withdrawels because they were funded with GBP and withdrawn in USD

We are currently setting up our business to allow for foreign currency deposits. It will be available SO SHORTLY!!! I am very excited about this, as it will be great for business. In addition, not a day goes by that we don't get requests for foreign deposits.

I will let the forum know ASAP when it is available.

EFX Updates
There have been some changes around here....

Dear Forex-TDS Members ~

As you might have noticed, our new website went up over this past weekend. What you might not know is that we have also made the move to 24 hour support here. That means that someone will be available to answer your questions via phone, e-mail, webinar, or one-on-one Live Chat from Sunday at 5 pm EST until Friday at 5 pm EST. There is now a variety of methods that you can contact us, depending on your needs. I'd like to take a moment to run through them.

Three New Ways to Communicate:

1. Although this is true for everyone, this part affects those customers outside of the US the most. We currently are in the process of installing a VoIP phone system. If you have a microphone and speakers on your computer, you soon will be able to click on our phone number right on the Contact Us page and talk to us directly, free of charge. (Coming Soon)

2. On the website, you will also see Live Help. This gives you a direct one-on-one connection with a Customer Service representative in our office that can help you via text. You can also use this to let the representative take control of your computer and try to help you resolve any issues.

3. We also have a new Chat room that operates 24 hours a day. This is where I will be giving our on-line webinar's from now on. You no longer will have to pay to call into the webinar's. When the room is not being used for webinar's, however, you can interact with our representatives throughout the day and even chat with other traders who have logged into the room. Our representatives will even be able to share screenshots or live screencast to help answer questions, and we will soon begin brief meetings at certain times of day to answer questions from the public.

Platform Updates

The next thing that I wanted to update everyone about was our platforms. Let's start with Navigator. There is a new version available for Beta testing that includes charts from Intellicharts in the platform. This is technically deemed "Beta" software from MBTF, so we have listed it accordingly on our Navigator download page. You will also find there a link to the current release version of the software, which does not include charts.

Now that the new website is in place and our support team is operating round the clock, we are going to begin moving our Beta testers to the EFX Remote Trader (formerly code-named Omega). If you signed up to be a Beta user, we will contact you as we get to your group over the next few weeks. We anticipate moving out of the Beta stage sometime in late November. Following that, demo trading on Remote Trader will be made available.

We hope everyone is excited about the changes happening at EFX and we thank you for your continued support and patience while all the updates are put in place.

Hi. I am not sure how to read this - does it mean that you will accept foreign deposits to USD-based accounts, or that you will be offering non-USD-based accounts soon?

Personally, it is a real dis-incentive even contemplating opening a USD account the way the USD is tanking, and shows no signs of letting up in the short/medium term...

For me the 2 points that you need to address and that are a no-go for the moment are:
- the swap rates as I mentioned before
- an account in € as it is also mentioned by other people above (Is there any European willing to have an account in $ and lose all his profits because of that. I don't want to be forced to be long on $)

If you can update us on this forum when you will have "solved" these 2 points, it will be much appreciated.

EFX group WILL be accepting foreign denomination deposits VERY SHORTLY! It was the biggest hurdle, and I am not sure why it was a hurdle at all...but it was...and we are over it. I will update my writings and our website when this becomes available. It wont be today, but it will be very soon!

Very excited about that.

As far as getting better rates for swaps...that too is coming, but not quite as soon.
