apologies if this sounds a little stupid but is EFX a metatrader broker, as this is a metatrader broker forum?

No need to apologize

BigD,

I appreciate the comment, even if you were being a little sarcastic, you make a good point. This is a Metatrader forum, and EFX Group is not a metatrader broker. So why am I here?

As you know, Metatrader was built for deal desk platforms. There are many traders out there who love using metatrader, but dislike having to place their trades with a deal desk broker. You can understand, I am sure. Trading is hard enough as it is, without having a broker trade against you. Deal desks, while not all of them, are notorious for re-quoting, stop hunting and taking the opposite side of their clients' trades.

Have you had positive experiences from your deal desk broker? If so, maybe it would be helpful if you let people know of these good experiences so they can avoid being taken advantage of. After all, we are all here to trade, make money, and be happy.

Keep up the writing.

Andy

Lightbulb MT4 to EFXGroup Interface

Is it just me or others think the same way? Are we not missing a very important functionality of an interface between MT4 and EFXGroup???

Do the analysis in MT4 and your EA can send orders directly to EFX!!

Do we have something already in place or shall I start looking into it?

Hey everyone. I have been using EFX Group for over 2 years now.

These guys are great!! You are just giving your money away if you are trading with a fixed spread broker.

Tell EFX therumpledone sent you!

Bongo, EFX Group is NOT a scam.

I have been to their offices in Scottsdale, AZ numerous times.

EFX Group is an ECN Forex Broker. The fixed spread brokers are the real scams!!

IMO, EFX belongs on this forum so traders can be made aware of the choices they have. Many traders have been duped into believing there is a fixed spread.

obviously you talk crap, EFX is affiliated with mbtrading and you can check it in NFA site BASIC Details

and for TRO, i think fixed spread or non-fixed spread is just a matter of business in the broker's point of view, so there's nothing wrong about it. It's just about money
