For InterbankFX received the answer:
"Only on MT4 for micro lots. Unfortunately we are allowing any new customers to use MT4 until the bugs are worked out of it. I’m sorry I don’t have any dates yet. Please keep checking."

My question: "Yes but ... MT4 is newest version of MetaTrader ... Do you expect an other version? MT5?"

Answer: "Yes MT 4 is the newest version however 3.83 is the more stable version."

So interbankfx is allowing trades on mt4?

I was with refcofx - they had great fundamental analysis - but did not allow metatrading for any accounts. Now I am looking for a place to start metatrading at.

Yes you can open a new account with interbankfx using MT4. I have a mini with them. And yes you can trade micro-lots on the interbankfx mini platform. If you have a mini with them the lot sizes work like this:

setting lot size to 1.0 lots = 1 mini lot (0.1 lot or $10K lot)
setting lot size to 0.1 lots = 1 micro lot (0.01 lot or $1K lot)
setting lot size to 10.0 lots = 1 standard lot (1.0 lot or $100K lot)
