I'm looking into both, but honestly a decent ECN shouldn't give a decent IB program. If they can afford to pay a large cut, then they are making too much money.

Would be good if some one commissioned some programming to enable a bridge to a "bank" type data feed. So that scalping off that big fat REAL and noisy forex data feed is a viable focus.
Although it would surely require 50-100K to open an account with the "bank".

i.e. would this program not be something that could be sold to recoup the expense to build it ?

Swiss banks look good, but there are US specialists too.

I suppose there are blokes commissioning these bridging programs all the time and keeping it to themselves.

Actually - had a rethink on this.
Think to trade big fat wide composite forex data you need connection between 2 or more ECN's.

I am Latvian trader , was trading on their platform mt4 and I had a floating loss position around $4000, their f*... dealer karlos, got into my account and closed my position, and force me to take a reailized loss! When I called and complained he answered the phone and told me that by the end of month the dealer is allowed to close your position, even when you are far away from getting margin call!!!!! SCAMMM, totaly SCAM, stay away!
