Need an advice on Forex brokers: no-tax, automated trading
Hi. Yesterday I have finally learned what Forex is and how it works. Still much to learn. It would be nice to open a demo account and try some trading strategies. I would like to find a broker that
1. is non-US based and would not report my gains to IRS. I found that ACM for example claims no taxes on capital gains: "Swiss based therefore no capital gains tax on foreign exchange profits." I assume some other off-shore Forex brokers offers the same advantages. I learned that "spread betting firms" give you a status of a gambler with a choice not to report your winnings to tax collecting agencies (although, it is probably true for UK and not US becasue IRS still want the taxes from the gambling winnings).
2. I would like to use automated trading. Some brokers like InterbankFX and FXDD offer the MetaTrader platform to write your own trading scripts. Some offer their own proprietary platforms.
Is there a Forex broker that would fit my requirements (no-tax, automated trading platform)? I hear everybody likes Oanda. But, it does not fit my requirements. What other favorites?

Check out http://www.northfinance.com/ will for sure meet your requirements. FYI, with what you're trying to do, please make sure that you setup proper structure. Non-US based alone may not suffice for I can gather you would like to do. Your 3-lettered friends are not like the trends. Good luck!
BTW, I should have another one but not on MT4. I will check it out for you and PM you with the link.

If you trade in the US.... you are responsible for taxes no matter who you use for a broker.

Hi,
If you are citizen of any high tax jurisdiction, e.g. US, UK, Australia. Then, you need to pay capital gain/profit tax if you trade on your own name, no matter where the account is.
Some people will set up a foreign company and open account with the company to trade and claim tax-free cos' it is outside their original jursdiction. But be careful, it is not the truth...most of these high tax region's tax officers have already noticed that...they can't set up this kind of offshore company by themselves to avoid paying tax.
I recently found a web that help serious traders to achieve tas-free trading. You may have a look. Here
I was wondering...its so difficult to find more than a handful of reviews for SpaceVision broker here?
Is it because the more commonly reviewed FXDD, IBFX, NF, etc...have more users or promotors in this forum?
I am really interested to find out more from those who had tried trading on SpaceVision's Live account because their spread and credibility is among the best for MT4-able brokers.
Thanks in advance
