Obviously not.
I do not scalp but, maybe can explain the hidden problem.
Scalping is only a problem to retail brokers. ECN brokers loves scalping because their´re charge a commission for every trade. And thats when you´re in and out, no matter if the trade was winner or loser.
For this reason you must be carefull or the broker would eat your profits.
Retail brokers cannot support this. when you´re sell to broker, the broker buys to a bank. (or inverse)
But not all trades are forwarded to a bank. Little trades are just an accounting entry because their don´t need to coverup.
If you´re scalping 2 things happend.
1-The broker becames crazy. Thay need to take the counter trade but he can´t because:
a- the open position has little money involved, so they made an accounting entry.
b- you´re doing pretty fast and the DD can´t follow you.
2-The broker fill the counter trade but you´re moving fast and they can´t close the trade without losing money.
IE: you sell big money and inmediately you´re -3/4 pips. The broker buys to the bank (a better price off course) in he´s -1/2 pips. And overall +1/2pips against you. So, in the worst case the broker are even with you.
The price moves in your direction 10 pips and you close the trade. You´re +4/5/6 pips and close the trade 5 minutes later. The broker are -2 to -6 pips with you.
The borker needs to close the trade with the bank but the prices moves an he is -2 to -6 in the buy trade.
At end, the broker close the trade with:
better case 0 pips but there was a huge work.
worst case: -2 to -12 pips. The broker is losign money and this is not good for them.
damm trader case: the guy wins and withdrawal the money.
Hope this helps
pd:This explanation is much more complex in the real world.
