I heard h o t s p o t f x . c o m offers no requote, no dealing desk but max leverage is 50:1 and requires larger deposit to open an account. I am not sure if they offer MT4. Another question - how can the futures brokers manage without hedging while forex brokers can't.

A broker with dealing desk, doesn't mean it will be automatically a bad broker. It's only mean they don't throw our order directly to the market. And so far I only know very few non-dealing-desk broker, such as HotSpotFX, Interactive Brokers, MB Trading, and CoesFX. I have live account with FXDD for over than one year now, and don't have any problem. But really interesting to try trade using non-dealing-desk broker such as MB Trading who provide a mini account. Just my two cents

Any forex broker that offers mini-lots automatically has a dealing desk. The interbank market does not understand or accept mini-lots, only standard lots. Because of this, the brokers have to use a dealing desk to "collect" enough mini/micro/nano lots to create 1 standard lot.
If you notice Hotspotfx and Coesfx only trade standard lots. That is because it is the only way to do it. I hope this helps.
HotSpotFX's retail platform is NOT straight-through processing like their institutional side - they hedge just like every other standard FX dealer.
Guys you all need to step up to reality and realize that while yes *some* dealers are crooks, it is most likely your bad trading that is getting you pissed off at all of them. If you get bad spikes or something like that (ie InterBankFX, FXCM, etc.) then that's certainly understandable to be upset with them, but you need to go to them directly WHEN IT HAPPENS and it is likely that they'll fix the problem no questions asked. I've had this happen so many times and it's never been a problem to get a solution. When I've had tech issues with FXDD they ALWAYS, I repeat ALWAYS have handled it with no questions asked and credited my accounts whenever it was necessary.
any having problems by getting account statement by mail from brokers server ? thats an important issue also for custommers to monitor open/ orders positions.
