Does anyone know which metatrader vendors are most reliable. I use 4 different MT4 vendors and they all have different datafeed issues. Sometimes their datafeed just stops working when you're in the middle of a trade and your brokers price just keeps moving against you. When you've lost money, the data just starts working again to match your brokers price as if nothing happened.
As a day trader, the reliability of your datafeed is your bread & butter as your equity depends on it.

Any ideas who the most reliable metatrader vendors are?

I'm trying to open demo account on MT4 but i can't connect to ODL-MT4 Demo, I saw on topic that i can put new server 66.114.120.22 but it is also not pinging (ping n/a). I don't have any open accounts yet.

is there a broker's server in north america?

I Believe FXDD or IBFX have their servers located there.

I have read some post of this thread and everybody is telling the existance of this or that broker, but few persons are pointing which broker he (she) believe is the best according with his-her experience.
Will be interesting to now wich mt4 broker active traders prefer, and why.
Maybe a poll ranking them ?.......
Maybe discriminatory, but can encourage other brokers to improve their services, don't you think ?...

How about financial turmoil in US affected Forex Brokers?

I thought ibfx is in GMT time zone. fxdd's spread for G/U is a little high.

IBFX is located in the USA... They used the GMT zone from the beginning, later they attempted to change it to a US time zone with a notification in advance but most of the clients objected it and IBFX listened to them.... So it is still GMT --- but it is not related to the geographical location of Interbank. It is in the USA...

they seem to have almost same spread for many majors and cross pairs..

ibfx's server in utah.

not sure where is fxdd's server in.

4. Non Dealing Desk, this mean all transaction is direct to market
because this EA will blow their account if they play to fight this EA
5. MT4 platform
