Here is the information that I first wrote about last night. This was posted on another forum a little while ago.

I have copied below information of the first broker (that I have heard of) to offer an ECN format to be used on a MT4 platform. The company below, Back Bay, is an Introducing Broker located in Boston. I have traded through them for well over a year now. So when I saw this posted on another forum, I knew I could trust what I was reading. I know Paul quite well. It doesn't cost any more to trade through them with the broker listed below, but you get extra service from them.

Paul assists, if you want, with the account opening process and will answer any questions that you have. It is like you have one special person that gets to know you and takes care of whatever you need taking care of through the months, instead of going through customer service at a broker where you often get different people all the time, who really don't always give the correct info.

Also they put out a really good, free, newsletter/economic update/trading heads up a couple of times a week whenever there is something important happening. Plus they have more things in the works to offer as added benefits to their clients.

I highly recommend them. It is hard to find a company that stands on honesty and ethics in the wild forex arena that we trade it. Below I have copied what he has posted on the other forum. I hope you find this helpful.

I would like to start by saying thank you to Cynthia (Cancun Clam), Jeff (AZJeff), and the rest of the forum for their support and allowing me to post. My name is Paul Towne and I work for Back Bay FX. We are a NFA registered CTA and have over 10 years of experience working within the Forex industry in many different capacities. I have spoken with Jeff for some time and he has expressed personal interest, and potentially a more involved group interest about the possibility of a true MT4/ECN platform, hence this email. I happy to say after some continuous probing and patience we have been allowed to announce its existence by the broker we have a standing relationship with.



FXCM has finished a direct to bank price feed using MT4 as the front end. Currently it is in the process of a soft launch (I have one of the very few accounts available for live testing) but has not been made public for any live or demo traders. FXCM will formally announce this when it is officially completed but they have given us a head start with this opportunity. You can submit account applications now if you wish becoming one of the first able to trade live or demo once the platform is released (see link below). Clients that do this will have to complete one additional signature page when the ECN is officially ready, thus being switched to the new MT4 platform.



The FXCM MT4/ECN details are as follows:



v Straight through ECN processing with FXCM’s multi bank network. (ECN - stands for Electronic Communications Network. A Forex ECN does not operate with a dealing desk, but instead provides a marketplace where multiple market makers, banks and traders can enter competing bids and offers into the platform (mt4) allowing traders to trade with multiple counterparties including other traders.)

v Account Minimum is $2,000.00

v No Micro lots (Unfortunately micros are too small for large banks to deal in). We do work with other brokers in a non ECN format that provide micros for those interested.

v Full EA and system capabilities

v Multi terminal accessibility for managed accounts

Trade in front of us please

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone has heard of this mob (forexte.com)

Can you give some insight into them if you have used them, are they regulated, safe etc.

They support MT and allow the use of EA's on the 1M period.

Not much in the way of reviews I could find on the net, except that one guy complained of them calling him on the phone when signed up for a demo account.

They also seem to use forex.com as their data provider, or at least thats where MT demo account is logging into

why dont you try FXcast (Antigua)?? I had not a single bad experience with them. And I cannot even find any negative entry in any forum. I think this is the best reputation - better than discussing which broker is the less worse - or am I wrong?

Hi All,
Can anyone please tell me a broker that will alow me to trade the EURHKD or GBPHKD in a live account.

I have tried Northfinance but their platform is so slow with lag it is un-usable for me.

Any alternatives?

I did not found any HKD on IBFX and I do not have FXDD inside my home PC.

Thanks for your efforts but those are no good.

Alpari russia does not allow residents of the UK (me) to open a live account and alpari uk does not do those pairs. USDHKD is not what I am looking for. I wish to trade either EURHKD or GBPHKD.

Just a strange limitation ...
"can not go this way because of citizenship" ...
As I know Russians can have live accounts with american IBFX and british Alpari but British citizens can not have acount with russian Alpari ...
I don't fully believe in this limitation sorry.
