Out of topic here, but do you think these new NFA rules are gonna REALLY prevent metatrader bucket shop from tempering with Customers order to their detriment? In other words, is it gonna be finally a FAIR game? Because we all know brokers is laughing at our face, we the suckers...

I think about it several years ago too... when I deside to go to non MT4 broker (to nfa compliant broker)...
I had many EA's writing by myself and I deside to count in detail - how will thay work... result was VERY simple - there naven't any difference!
You must count it by yourself and you'll see - any combination of "hedging" orders may be counted as one-direction position at every moment...
After I understand it - it was very simple to me to trade with MT4 with nfa compliant broker... Now I seccesfully trade more that year with Oanda through MT4 and really happy...
If you see in MT4 two orders +1 and -1 it's equally closed position + 1 prepaid spread!
What mean this prepaid spread? It's mean that you MUST trade this pair even if you deside it's useless for you!
Just try - connect MT4 trough API to any nfa compliant broker and you will see - ALL your EA's will work fine... and in many cases you will pay less spreads!!!
Why NFA restrict "hedge"? Because it's FRAUD! It's very usefull... for brokers
Just imagine - if tomorrow brokers gives you possibility trade not only up & down, but left & right too - will you use it??? )
P.S. I more than shure that MT5 left order execution the same: you will see your lovely +1 & -1 but adds ones more line - "total" = 0...

Are you trading true Oanda API at 600$ a month or did you find another way around? I am closing order mechanicaly without their costly API. My problem is that i need to find a better MT4 Demo data feed, all the ones i tried are going offline during news times. Anyone have suggestions?

open a Live-Account with AlpariRU and don't fund it.
Put the signals by hand into a funded OANDA-Live Account on a 10 second chart with Heiken Ashi and Bollinger Bands, then you be happy with the great scalping capabilities!
Then you have the best Forex Data Feed that i know!
On Demo-Accounts Alpari use many servers for the Data feed and changes the server connection all the time.
Therefore the connection is not very stable.
open a Live-Account with AlpariRU and don't fund it.
Put the signals by hand into a funded OANDA-Live Account on a 10 second chart with Heiken Ashi and Bollinger Bands, then you be happy with the great scalping capabilities!

There are some good MT4 bridges out there now and most can be customized to suit your needs. Don't look for an "MT4 Broker". Instead, just look for a good broker. If they don't offer MT4, you should be able to configure a bridge. There are many talented MT4 coders that can help if you don't know how...
Some additional info regarding some of the posts in this thread : according to information we have (unofficial for the moment, but trustworthy) metaTrader 5 will be available for testing in October

Maybe it is time to slowly (as a kind of "preparing step") we start talking about some of the novelties MT5 is going to have.
This time just about one of the features that almost every coder that made anything in MQL 4 was nagging and complaining about : from the (Russian) help files and from information I have learned so far about MQL5, there will be no more 8 buffer limit. So, we are going to be able to draw on charts as much as our hearts wish (styles extended too, but about that some other time).
One more "eternal nagging theme" is going to be obsolete too : one of the new internal indicators is iADXWilder, so the need to use custom indicator in order to achieve what other trading platforms already have, is going to vanish regarding ADX
In the list of added new "built in" indicators there are also AMA, FRAMA, TEMA, TRIX, VIDyA ...
