CPU Usage
Anybody have noted a high CPU usage with version 203?
I have noted something strange when upgraded and contacted Metaquotes. In this version the memory allocation was reduced at a half (according with my PC). IE When version 202 was using 70 mb of memory, version 203 is using 30 or less. However the CPU usage in prior versions was smooth 2% to 6%. After the upgrade, with same charts and indicators the CPU usage is taking peaks of 15%to 20 and sometimes when the data moves so fast is at 40% to 60% or more. Metaquotes guys said me everything is Ok and the problem must be indicators, "pls check it". But, the indicators remain the same before the upgrade, no new ones, no new charts. Even, only using the default indicators I´m in trouble. Since update was last week I had some time to test. I´m using a "high level incoming data" broker similar to Neuimex. A lot of ticks per minute. And for the test: 12 charts with 3 common (stoch, rsi, macd, etc) indicators per chart. CPU Usage are going from 3% 20% with peaks of 40% to 80%. 12 charts with no indicators CPU Usage are 2-8% . With a "low level incoming data" broker similar to Alpari. 12 charts with 3 common (stoch, rsi, macd, etc) indicators per chart. CPU Usage are going from 4% to 8% with peaks of 30% to 50%. 12 charts with no indicators CPU Usage are 2-3% . I have also noted the situation becomes critical with more than one terminal open. With one terminal open and 2-20% CPU usage the situation becomes critical when you added another terminal. The first one jumps to a level of almost 14-15% cpu usage and the second 15-40%. 3 terminal opens becomes my pc in a frame by frame movie. This is all on a AMD processor. But in a Intel processor, 8 charts of a default "CATFx50" in example takes 6 to 15% constantly (neuimex). Seems to be the situation with Intel is a little better. Also, When I try to move between charts in the same profile with the task manager open the amount of cpu usage surprise me. I want to contact Metaquotes again but I want to be sure I´m not alone. I have a lot of examples and situations, not all can be covered in a post, like, windows xp pro or home, services running, etc. But the main question is: something similar is happening to you?

Damn it. If you machine frozen what about me ![]() AMD 3000+ 1.5 GB. In fact I have added last 512 mb due the intensive memory consumption of the terminals. Can you check the task manager? and post what you find. We´re not alone Valeo.
