Putting a buy order in
Hi

I cant work it out - so confused !

I want to put a buy order in the future with a stop loss (for example the price of cable is 1.9413 and I want to put in a buy order if the price hits 1.9435 with a stop loss of 1.9420)

Can I do this with a "Buy Stop" ?

I think it is pending orders:
right mouse click on your deposit size, then "New Order" or F9, then change in "Type" to "Pending order".
About pending orders you may read in help:
open Metatrader, press F1 and select "Trading" - "Order Types".
