Anybody who wants a serious career in the forex market needs a proper feed into a proper terminal.
Meta trader is not to be trusted since brokers manipulate the feed.
I am contemplating on moving to Tradestation or Metastock and converting my indicators/systems...and Tradestation has its own execution now and is actually free.
Moreover,Tradestation gived you the ability not to be bound by timeframes for better analysis.

Has anybody here made the conversion lately from Metatrader to Tradestation or Metastock?
And what is the preferred feed that has genuine ticks?

Metastock feed is a clean Reuters feed for 99$ a month.
Hypertrader is nice.
Tenforequotespeed is bad.
Esignal is quite good but has too many problems according to people.

You can't go wrong with tradestation especially since it's free after you trade a certain number of lots. Only snag for me is that it's 5K to open an account. Also another problem is that I can't use these custom indicators that I have.

If you look closer at the Forex-TSD logo, you can see MetaTrader spelled out. This forum is about MT, not other software.
Also, what's with the multiple commas?

Yes, this forum is about Metatrader but not only, and we talk a lot about other software.

I suggest you check the several threads where we talk about TS, ES, MS etc.

Many indicators posted here are translations from MS code. You just need to the appropriate forums and you´ll fint all you need.

In the other hand, many indicators posted are programmed just for MT4 using the special features of MQL language which makes hard to translate to MS.
