is MT4 reliable?
Hello all.

Is MT4 reliable?
I'm writing my code, recording my results, saving off different versions, and when I go back to reproduce my results from a earlier version I get drastically different outcomes. Even running the same code back to back (and checking the recalculate box in the Strategy Tester) I get somewhat different results.
What gives? I'm seeing this from 2 different brokers. Does this stuff work?

Most will admit that it is not totally accurate and will give a ballpark result only. Using different brokers will give different results because each has its own data that differs from one to another. A good result in backtesting may not give a good result in live trading.
