I see talk of indicators and other talk of expert advisors, can the indicator be displayed from within the expert advisor rather than having to add both to the chart?

If they must be seperate, is there a way to use the variables from one to trigger the other?

I answered my first question, an EA cannot display an indicator.

How might I access the variables of the indicator within the ea?

I see something about global variables but not sure how to initialize them within the indicator.

Any answers will be helpful and I will continue researching.
