MT4 and browsers

hi, some order-entry/charting programs require Internet Explorer to be
installed in order for the software to work

does IE have to be installed to run MT4 ?

want to replace IE with FireFox and ThunderBird

I think MT4 doesn't require IE to run .
never try install Mt4 on computer with IE doesn't exist , if u save report statement it will save in html format .

Actually, MT4 does use parts of IE for the MQL Editor. I saw a few IE related crashes when I was trying to get it to work in Linux.
