Yep.

All of my Demos on V1+V2 had gone and I was really playing it "Safe" EUR/USD only. Only the mini account survived.

Guess back to manual trading. Fifth and V1+V2 are just not reliable. 200Pips move wiped the accounts out. 4 demos gone, all with slightly different settings and pairs.

I was really going well with V1+V2 new up until today.

Mine got closed out automatically. Got hurt pretty bad, but did not get blown out! Lost all I gained the past 6 weeks of gain, maybe? Was in live mini account.

Checking my history, it reached 8th level, then was able to retrace, and reached the TP (of 8th level), but it closed all BUY trades, even if it is in negative.

What happened?

My DEMO hit 8th level and opened a SELL for .01 lot I lost all profits gained since the EA started working plus some of the initial deposit. I was looking through the code and wondering how I can set this EA to only go to 2 levels and then open a hedge position. I'm looking for slow steady profits of 3-5 pips each.

Using V1 and V2 original.

it seems all demos got busted today , Fifth and V1+V2 seems to react the same 3 members here and i am 4th got burned today and the EA on mine gives not enough money to open trades where the margin is 1371% this is totaly weird !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Guys – I have to say as of a week ago I was all aboard with this strategy. It made long term sense. I liked the idea of a slow equity curve. I even sent money into a new account and had it prepped to go. However something kept bugging me about the ‘blown account’. I kept trying everything, only 4 trades, maybe 5 trades max; anti-martingale kind of by changing multiplier to .5, .9 even change it to 3x and 4x with smaller max trades but nothing made it work. I looked at just the long side, short side, but again nothing that worked just right. This week alone killed my long side demo account. On an account with 10 pip ranges I went 10 levels deep with bad results. I wanted this to work so bad I bought a VPS service to run it 24x7. I am pretty down about the strategy now and I’m sure some of you are seeing it to. I was caught up in the moment as many others have been. I really really hope someone figures out a solution to the big drop. I know I have tried and failed. I know the big drop may only happen every couple months, but that risk is too great for the return. Some can argue against this but I’m just stating my opinion.

I will continue to check the posts here, but I only offer the advise as more seniors members have offered on a martingale type of strategy – be careful. As for those who will say this strategy is hedged it is sort of at .01, and .02 lots, but when your long positions are .32 and .64 your shorts may only be at .01 and .02 – not a true hedge. I was playing with, someone may want to continue the work with an idea that maybe all long and short tie in together. Maybe they both start somehow at .08 when one wins it goes down to .04 while the losing side moves to .16 etc…

Anyhow – I have my forum as I mentioned before. I’m not selling anything, but I do have adsense so maybe I can make 25 cents from your traffic But look at my results with FX Auto – it’s not for everybody and you need $2500 to open an account, but I have had great success letting them trade for me. I have focused on an atr channel strategy and it has worked well. My account is now just over $3500 since April 29th, so a little over a month I’m up $1000. Again this is not for everyone. I am going to continue to work on some EAs around envelope trading and scalping some profits. Look for a new thread starting soon. I have had good success except for my stop level is causing me some problems.

Anyhow good luck here and I will check back on occasion.

euro down and down and down , MARTINGALE SUCK you have find other system , my system M survive to down 300 pips 1 week I use in my real account , i post demo account . I am a full time trader with broker www.dukascopy.com . I use 5 system profiterable , this is one . EA shit all , manual system is best ....
