I've been using it in my live account for the whole March 2008 and it makes more than 30$ for me. I use only for gbpusd 15m and lots 0.01. In demo I opened a 1000 mini and 6 pairs. wo! 3600$ profit on one week.
I backtested the Feb and Jan would have big loss. I tested on March there's also a big loss but on my live account there's no such big loss. Don't know why. Maybe there's what said the demo is different than live?
The attached ea won't make much money than the original one but won't broken the account, so increase the lots from 0.01 to 0.1

Sorry I did not explain my self correctly what I have been trying to do is on each new open look back and see which pattern is there be it long or short if neither exist 1) do not open any new positions 2) if positions are open close them and wait for a new pattern.

The other thing I have been looking at is setting a percentage (AccountEquity) based SL I have been searching the various threads looking for info on weather this has been done before. Do you know if it has?

Anyway just thinking out loud

OK then, you'll need to add in a function in the EA to close off the order. Or else, it will take the previous order's direction as the current order's direction. AccountEquity stop loss version has been done before out of TSD at Yahoo Group.
