Thanks MrTools

I have done everything you recommended and using the latest version you have just posted.
But still no avail. No trades at all all day.
Is this how it supposed to work? Waiting for the right time to enter?

I need other user's feedback. I found it strange that no action from it what so ever. I have no error logs at all. All seems working fine.

I am using EUR/USD only.

Maybe I will load up 4 pairs, might trigger some action.

All the backtesting looks great, but means nothing if it trades only a few times a month.

Any comments?

nubika

Hi Nubika

I usually have about 1 trade a day, but it sometimes will go a day without trading, but this week been having a trade every day, in fact now in a trade with eur/usd.Depending on who your account is with you may need to change the account type to either 0 or 1, don't think account type 2 will work on broker like FXDD that doesn't have micromini in demo, that could be the problem, and if you are using on a demo for sure try other pairs, may come up with good settings for those pairs also.

Hope this gets this going for you.

Apologies if this has already been asked, but it is a long thread and I am in the middle of reading it right now. In the meantime I am demoing the dynamic stop version and I was wondering how often I can expect the EA to trade. I only ask because my ****ing internet keeps disconnecting during the day while I am away and I have had to restart my computer numerous times. I have had it running since the evening of the 19th and so far it has only made four trades (EURUSD m5, TP@30 and lots@0.1).

Do I need to remove/re-attach the EA everytime I have to restart or does it recognize its own orders and keep working?

Hi Static

If it is the original 10 points 3 Dynamic Stop it usually is constantly trading especially on M5 timeframe, and the EA will recognize its own orders by its magic number, there should be no need to re-attach.

Thanks for the quick reply, yes it is the original from page 18 or so. None of the magic numbers have changed, I was just a little skeptical because the EA made a bunch of trades within roughly the first 24 hours and nothing since then. I'll let it sit for another day and see if it trades at all and if not I may have to restart, which is a shame because it was doing so well.

Just a chance that you may be trying to use the EA with .01 start up units when the broker only allows .1.

I had one trade yesterday and currently am long EURUSD, that is the only pair I am testing.

I thank you all for your replies....just came back from vacation. How do I get to my CMOS? I pressed on the delete botton as you said but nothing happen.
Please pardon my little knowledge on computer if I'm doing the wrong thing.

Of course all my open programs were closed again before I woke up this morning resulting in huge loss. I need to fix this problem ASAP.
