I vote to start the next as well. I've been posting my V12 results regularly, but had a hard drive problem this week on the computer that was running it. I'll have that fixed today. V-12 has been great for me the entire time, right up until FOMC. I had it on both 30M and 15M TFs, and both were short before FOMC. As I understand it, testers who were on H1 TF were long before FOMC and did much better.

Hi David,
First of all. I'm with you not against you.
I never said I found holy gail. The post you found is a joke that against one of seller's post that I think he was selling a very poor EA. I have never intend to sell any eas. I'll buy good eas though. The result I posted is much better than 99% eas ever posted but it will blow at the setting of that EA! It is not curve fitting though.
As matter of fact I was the fist one on the intertnet post 10point 3 like method long time ago in a differnt forum. It is the method I was used the casino more than20 years ago. 10 point 3 like ea was slowly developed to this day according my idea.
Like lots of people here, I had lots eas that doing very well in a certain period of time that made me thought I got holy gail. But a matter of fact is a couple of my 10k accounts have been killed so far. One of account that killled was during the period I metioned in the last post. That is period of long lating tend without looking back followed by a period the zigzag. If one have ea that can stand both big trending period (around 1000pips) (trend follow ea will do well) and long time zigzag period (10point3 like ea will do well) I'd say you find holy gail. I'm with you and every one here that tried very hard to find that holy gail. I do have 10point 3 like ea that can stand 1000pips trend without blow but can only make very small fraction of equity at a time. It is not holy gail. Holy gail that very one looking here is make ton of money in very short period of time and never kills one's account.
I truly have faith that I can find one
Soon
or
Later?

Keep up your good work David. I'm with you 100%

Yes - please let's continue with the new project! You all do a great job here! Sorry for posting my V12 testing results only after the first week. But due to some network problems my recent figures aren't consistent at all .

i have seen the forward testing of V12 posting here, and it is doing well. Why those testers quit? I really have no idea, but i hope it will not frustrate you further david.

Some even send me their backtest result talking about how cool their system is. I mean, come on! Why you want to improve my EA since your's is full of potential?.
Are you referring to my x3 backtest? It's still your EA, I'm just experimenting with different settings (as suggested by Yeoeleven).

Please don't leave tsd ... You're very much needed here.

Hi David,
Let me correct myself. The holy grail you metioned in the last post is not from my post. I don't even know which post you think is mine.

Could you post link to that 'holy grail' please.

Regard

Mate, I appreciate your work. I'm not pointing at you, you're not a new poster, I recall that when I invited you to this thread, you're already a old fart in TSD. Some dude send me PM request for the V12. And show me how good his EA and ask for exchange. I'm a very strict person. When I said close, I mean it. No exception is allowed. And I'm not saying you're wrong with X3. I think that is such a good idea though. Please keep it roll. I did like to see how will it turn up.

Regards

David

If your EA can pass this period without blow out the account. I would say you find holy gail.
No mate. I just trying to prove you that the holy grail we've been mentioned only live in backtest. And I'm thanking you to give me a good reference material. It is a challange to all of the EAs. I'm sure you belive in holy grail. But I dont belive them. Seriously, what I do is max out the EA potential and run it at optimum level. So far, our forward testing for almost 2 months. Still going strong. Anybody with that figure, if they still thinking of let the 760% profit keep compounding, they're going to be in deep shit soon. I program the max performance EA with safety pin for the use of very short period. I dont know which thread you're refering either. I normally just browse around. If I found something I need to shout out loud, I'll do it. But I'm seriously like what you post so far. No harm mate. Its all discussion. It would be great to have 1 EA which can run for a long long time. I've done the backtest for 6 years +. Since 2000~2007. No blow up at all. But I still dont trust the backtest. MT4's backtest is the biggest scam ever. The only best it can do is make sure your system are coded fine. All the algorithm is doing correctly. The indicator, the calculations, slippage, everything will be left out and gonna make your backtest very very beutiful. The only crazy months so far i've been facing is last November. Few of my EA get killed. Few of the SUB accounts get killed too.

Regards

David
