Lightbulb Coders please HELP to craete a Forex Moneymaking Monster!

Hello fellow Traders and envied gifted Coders.

I am not a coder as I get Headaches even thinking of it, so Please support.

I hubbly request your Help in developing and Coding a what i believe a Forex Monster.

If we are successfull we all can benefit.

In detail:

I want tan Expert Advisor for the Meta Trader 4 Plattform.

It has to combine a Grid with a Hedge Stategy.

It must have adjustable: Grid size, max. Levels for the Grids, Hedge function on&off, very important an Breakeven function
that triggers on adjustable levels reached on the grid when the trend is strong.

Also it must Trigger an emergency Profit
mode also adjustable when certain levels of the grids are hit.

That means close all posions on breakeven or in profit.

It then has to start the whole trading from this zero level again.

The EA has to open Hedged positions (buy&sell)on each
grid level and take profit on the previous adjusted grid size.

When the market retraces it has to open hedged positions
also when the previous grid level is hit again and of course take the profit of the previous hedge grid level position.

It also must have a mode that is triggerd on standartset on friday or a day choosen. It then has to look at least for
Breakeven possibilities or even profit and close all positions.

All grid orders or Take Profit settings have to be hidden
from the Broker and calculations of the ea have be only internal.

Comments of whats happening at the momment have to be
displayed on the chart.

It must work on all currency pairs and on micro&mini&100k account this has to be adjustable.

Thanks thats it for now if you have specific questions or querries please donīt hessitate to contact me i will get back to
you asap.

Spezial Greattings to Electric Savant as he inspires me in this Forum,
keep the good work up!!!

Please Comment on the above described Stategie if i missed something important.

Greetings,

I was in the middle of being mesmorized by the tetris game (it is addicting and my hat is off to that Russian fellah..I made it only to level 8) and I got this wonderful PM from tntphoenix and I am humbled. I must remind tnt and others that I am still searching to become profitable...I have it zeroed down to a few EA's...but I will never be able to remove risk completly.

This seems to fullfil the requirements of tnt's request, we might just already have his EA
BombShell my Gawd this is a wild child?

ES

P.S. Without sounding like a know-it-all....We should prolly' move this thread to the correct forum...

Backtests Finished!

I had to give up Backtesting the EA ElectricSavant recommended!
I am getting a lot of OrderSend Errors. After looking in the Code and adjusting the Settings many times, it seems that this EA is not reflecting my Trading System.

My Trading System should create a Hedged-Grid "Loop" adjusting to where Price is going. I would sertainly create a lot of trades because it would move with the price. The only weak point would be a relatively strong Trend breaking the Rules of the settings. In this case the EA should have looked Gridlines before that happens to Close all Positons on Breakeven or small Profit, and start the whole Proccess from this Level again.

As i am not a coder i donīt know what more information to provide, as i am being not asked by anybody!

So pls donīt hesitate if you have Questions.

Thanks

tnt,

I do not want to interuppt your project and by all means continue...but if I could suggest that you forward test the EA to see the hedged action then you will understand how it works...can you do both the development here? and at the same time watch this EA I posted?...maybe you can improve on it!

Smile

Itīs true the bombshell EA is troubleing me on backtests. Iīll try again on a demo forward but i havenīt manged to get it trading even on backtest this will take me some time.

So here is my try to post a more detailed explanation of how my(our) EA should work:

Hedge &Grid EA with breakeven or Profit Function on strong Trend.

1. Gridlines in both directions (buy&sell) should be calculated. The pipspace between them should be adjustable in the settings

2. Zero grid is the moment or an adjustable delay in the setting, when the EA gets started it then has immediately open 2 trades one a buy one a sell.

3. The lotsize must be adjustable and an lotsize step increase implemented when the equity rises above an adjustable level over the startup investment.

The System:

When the first Grid gets hit by the price the EA should close the Profitable trade and cash in the profit. Immediately it has to open 2 Trades again one a buy and one a sell on that grid. In a Trend in one direction this whould mean that the equity stays unchanged. But when the Market retraces many times this whould mean an increase of the balance together with equity.

So when a grid gets hit there may be 2 trades opened one buy and one sell. But when e.x a sell or a buy position that has been opened before on that grid and hasnīt been hit in profit by the price and the market retraced t that gridlevel there should only be the missing trade opened. That means when a sell is still open but the buy was clsed in profit only a buy position should be opened. so that on each gridlevel the price hits are allway 2 positions open one a buy one a sell.

Maximum Gridlevel amount must be adjustable in the settings.

Now the weak point of the system is a strong trend without retrace!

To bypass that the ea should look out for breakeven possibilities 2-3 Grids before the max. setted gridlevels are hit. This should happen by closing all positions eather takeing a small loss or breakeven or small profit. These are influenced by the grid size which is equaly to the take profit. When this is properly realized then a stop loss function is not needed.

Now in this case when the EA decides to close all trades and braekeven. Then it should start the whole trading procces from the pricelevel it reached again because from this level on the market could behave in a retracing manner again.

Graphicaly the balance and the equity curve should behave like a stairway.

Comments on the chart what the EA is doing or in which mode it is in e.x "Breakevenmode looking to get out!" or "Profit on last Cycle in Pips=...."

This EA should work on micro and mini accounts adapt to each broker servertime and swaps. Slipage should be adjustable.

If you have any more questions please leave a comment i will get back to you asap.

I understand, but you need to rely on forward tests to compare the logic to what you want from this thread. I believe by working out from the Bombshell EA will help you in this thread as you can clearly work with a coder. You will see what I mean when you forward test bombshell. Now I will tell you the weakness is the amount of open trades, so I suggest you do not use up to many slots with pending orders.

So here is my try to post a more detailed explanation of how my(our) EA should work:

Hedge &Grid EA with breakeven or Profit Function on strong Trend.

1. Gridlines in both directions (buy&sell) should be calculated. The pipspace between them should be adjustable in the settings

3. The lotsize must be adjustable and an lotsize step increase implemented when the equity rises above an adjustable level over the startup investment.

Naturally, this is after a complete grid closure with the BE ?

Interesting, Bombshell does not work this way....I am beginning to understand now

Now the weak point of the system is a strong trend without retrace!

and danglers...your grid will always find the extreme highs and lows

To bypass that the ea should look out for breakeven possibilities 2-3 Grids before the max. setted gridlevels are hit. This should happen by closing all positions eather takeing a small loss or breakeven or small profit. These are influenced by the grid size which is equaly to the take profit. When this is properly realized then a stop loss function is not needed.

I think I am visualizing this incorrectly, but if I am not mistaken... as your grid grows this becomes still again the need for a growing retrace...

Now in this case when the EA decides to close all trades and braekeven. Then it should start the whole trading procces from the pricelevel it reached again because from this level on the market could behave in a retracing manner again.

Graphicaly the balance and the equity curve should behave like a stairway.

readers,

Please excuse me...I am not the sharpest nail in the shed and I post and think out loud...☺

I must "feel" this system...so do not laugh at my stupid questions...

I think we need to refine tnt's ideas and not be too wasteful in spread and in the time it takes to build the grid (and also there is the numerous open orders issue...IBFX limits them to 1,000)...the nice part is he is suggesting to "build-in" a user definable grid space, which bombshell does not have.

ES

P.S. I can imagine the coder that is considering this project, must have a lot of questions...hehe...i am trying to ask them ☺
