Historical Data

Forex Tester Software - Data Sources

I even tried to use there software but witzhout success.

An alternative would be to give me a Link where I can get GBPUSD hst-data.

The reason is that I would like to test piplite and have just data for about 3 weeks.

Help would greatly be appreciated.

OK, problem is solved.
With these probably slightly different data I will make some additional tests. This tells me how robust the system is.

Thanks

Another way to assess robustness is to trade it on a live
account, with data it has never seen before. That will
get you down to brass tacks.

I believe you have a broker problem, or something is
not right with your settings, since there are several members on this forum, myself included, who have run Blessing on live accounts, without any problems.

Hi Rob,

I agree completly but always be on the save side!

First I made the backtests, found my settings over a period of 15 months,
now I start to do the foreward tests for a certain period and only when I see how this works I start it on a live account.

I learned that already the hard way!

I think this is a prudent approach. This will get you
dialed-in faster than trying to optimize going forward.
Looking forward to your findings.

Hi Poco,
About your site! it is very good site indeed, but I don't know in what reason you got me banned! I assume that you did it because of the donation that I promised long time ago and I'm sorry for that I couldn't keep my promise. But listen to my personal advice! Not everyone can afford to make a donation to your site, you just cannot simply ban people who can't to make a donation. I don't know what is it matter with u.
If you have intented your website for free usage then keep ur word my man! No offence but I will report you as spamming the thread with ur site!

What makes this version better than the current version?

problem

Noted a few posts back about blessing making trade and then putting a TP that makes a lose, well it did it last night.

.02 sell price 1.3170 tp 1.3195 = -$6.91
.03 sell price 1.3195 tp 1.3195 = 000000
.04 sell price 1.3220 tp 1.3195 = +$13.80

So it can happen not sure why? this is on a demo account that has been running since Tuesday last week and shut down over Easter.
$2500 starting account and this is the first negative trade.
