Thanks
Just wanted to say thanks to the creator of this thread, I think this is the place the introduced me to Asian breakout some time back. I've since then done a bit of fine-tuning of my own, made a few mistakes along the way. I'm now starting to make pips, a decent 5% per month, using a form of Asian breakout method. Thanks.

does anybody knows about a system for asian sesion?
Hello all...
I have tested several systems, I have some of them very promising, sadly all of them have a little problem at least for me ... they get stucked during asian sesion. For me its not possible to trade the London session (sleeping) nor the New York session (at work) so the only choice I have is the assian session Any help on this? Thanks in advance |

Try This. You need to program your Asian session, Open. Depending on your Server time.
Hope this helps. You will need a Pivot indicator. (Suggested).

Not sure what goes into inputs Asian Hi/Lo EA
Hi....
I am sure some good soul will give me the inputs for the Asian High Low Ea. I use FXDD whose server is GMT+3. Not sure how the inputs are written, for example Asia open should it be 3 or 03:00 etc. for fxdd I need the inputs for FXDD for the following: AsianOpen: AsianClose: MarketClose: Many thanks to the caring people in this forum, specially FXoperator for system & Azmel for EA. Asian High Low
darkpretender;
Here is an old traders trick I learned 8 years ago, when markets were less volatile. Today, with markets more volatile, it is easier. At the Asian Open, put bollinger bands, default, just before the Asian open. Count high low on the bands. If more than 30 pips difference, the market is going to move in a big way. Look at the previous High/Low. Where is the price going, Red or Green? This is an example of today's trade. 100 pips down for 40 minutes, retrace up for 50 pips. Remember, 2% of account balance per trade. Do this over and over. This should give you what you want. Your trading day should be over in less than 2 hours. Example is for cross pair, Euro/JPY. Will work with any correlated pair. As always, Thanks Linuxser. (2 Years ago). ![]()

Sorry-but still not sure
Hi Linuxser....
Thank you for the links to get the Times. I appreciate it. However, not sure how the times are placed in the Ea....if the time is is 3 am, do I show it as 03.00 0r just 3 for this particular EA. If anyone has an FXDD template with this EA and can post it here, I'll be most thankful. Jup |
