The theory is based on Hans, but the values used are different. Anyway, these are opening range breakout strategies and they will all look very similar. Credit goes to Hans for starting the system on SBFX, which is still profitable.

This is not Hans although the system was inspired by the success of the Hans system .

This system is based on A C D method by Mark Fisher.The entry,exits ,profit ,channel, tagets are all different.

This is a consistent and Robust system.

The Hans system has performed poorly in the comparable period and has had 3 losing months in the last 7 ????????????????

It's similar in that it is a range breakout strategy, but there are enough differences - here are some I can quickly run off:
- this system only uses one range for the trade Hans uses 2 ranges throughout the day
- Hans allows both buy and sell positions to be opened
- Hans closes just before 0 GMT - this one exits 19 GMT (18CET)
- Hans doesn't have a minimum channel distance (from what I remember)
- trades can happen anytime until the day closes
- different TPs/SL

he follwing data has been gathered from the Hans thread

Performance August 2006 to February 2007

August Hans -322
September Demo 8 th to 30 -303
October Indrionas? 581

Total losses -830

Are these figures correct?
5 out of 7 losing months ?Is this correct?

What was the maximum drawdown from August 2006 to February 2007

Asking a sample question. what u means ??

Set BuyStop at High + 5 pips and SellStop at Low - 5 pips


yesterday high or today high? and what TF r u using ??

At 18.00 CET all orders expiring and close all trades at market. On Friday we do the same at 18.00 CET.Always wait for the close of a bar to exit major moves and end of day exits.


Exits:Profitable trades:If target price is met or earlier When 3 wma crosses 6 wma on 30 m charts against the direction of the trade..If order is in profit and MA crosses in the opposite direction of the trade, then close the order..........................AFTER 2* 30 M BARS OF MA CROSS.............PROVIDED IT REMAINS CROSSED.Also discretionary exit at 1 st resistance /support on pivots if price action warrants.

Non profitable trades:If order is NOT in profit and MA crosses in the opposite direction of the trade, then close the order..........................AFTER 2* 30 M BARS OF MA CROSS.............PROVIDED IT REMAINS CROSSED?

Morning range:If the range on the 8.00 tp 9 am bar is greater than 50
pips do not trade that day.
