I wonder what would happen if one tries the two simultaneously on the same chart and currency to see if they would complement or destroy each other.

Just want to clarify once again:
AscTrend system/indicators/template from this post ASCTrend system is very old and classical version of asctrend system. Of course it was proven.
It means the following: when we started this thread long time ago we had just this system created for MT3 and MetaStock. It was something we started with. Most receint systems are in the middle and in the end of this thread.

Those original ASCTrend indicators seem to be working great on higher timeframes such as 4H. I'm actually using 2H which is weird but the signals are fitting pretty well.


A little request

I'm using the sound version of ASCTrendSig but I'm not on my computer at all times so I would prefer the sound alert to ring after 80% of the current period instead of at the closing period to give me time to check it etc. If someone could code/modify it, it would be very appreciated. I'm sure this would help people using ASC on higher timeframe to have the time to actually look at the signal.

supersignal indicator should paint the past.

There are many good indicators in the world which are very good but on the historical chart only.

Nothing wrong with painting the past but this thread is not related to this subject.

I traded repainting the past indicators:

- some explanation Channel trading system

- the other explanation Channel trading system

- live trading example with SHI_SilverTrendsig (trades and images): since page #2 till page #4.

BTW this thread is not related to painting the past indicators and because of that I am not using supersignal indicator you posted.
