I began playing with MM just yesterday. No clear results yet. I put your MM indicator with P=64 on my 15 min eur/usd charts and I see now that +1/8 sell= 1.3794 and -1/8 buy=1.2573. That's sort of a long way to go in both directions.

Then I put P=3. If you look at the MM2 picture, you'll see the situation of yesterday and I was planning to buy at arod 1.2863.
Today the situation has changed and, if you look at MM4 pic, you'll see that -1/8 level has changed as well and I was not able to buy eur post factum at around 1.2924

So, I wonder, if P can be changed for other parameters for 15 min charts? Would it be right to do so?

if you decide to use a Period of 3 on a 15min chart; chances are that the market will bust out of your frame @ +/- 1/8th and you will lose your money, better still if you decide to do it with no stoploss....please let me know as afternoon tv is not really that good these days. usdcad

Hi cmc,

usdcad's MM levels have shifted, and 1.1841 is now +1/8 MM level. With that gravestone doji appearing on the hourly chart, 1.1841 seems to be a very strong resistance. Your short looks good, as long as prices not to close above the high of that doji @ 1.1850.

Hi there,

it's to do with the fractal settings....

original settings were...

//determine fractal.....
if(v2<=250000 && v2>25000) fractal = 100000;
if(v2<=25000 && v2>2500) fractal = 10000;
if(v2<=2500 && v2>250) fractal = 1000;
if(v2<=250 && v2>25) fractal = 100;
if(v2<=25 && v2>12.5) fractal = 12.5;
if(v2<=12.5 && v2>6.25) fractal = 12.5;
if(v2<=6.25 && v2>3.125) fractal = 6.25;
if(v2<=3.125 && v2>1.5625) fractal = 3.125;
if(v2<=1.5625 && v2>0.390625) fractal = 1.5625;
if(v2<=0.390625 && v2>0) fractal = 0.1953125;

new settings are...

//determine fractal.....
if(v2<=200000 && v2>20000) fractal=80000;
if(v2<=20000 && v2>2000) fractal=8000;
if(v2<=2000 && v2>200) fractal=800;
if(v2<=200 && v2>20) fractal=80;
if(v2<=20 && v2>2.0) fractal=8;
if(v2<=2.0 && v2> 0.20) fractal=.8;
if(v2<=0.20 && v2> 0.020) fractal=0.08;

That is why the readings are different

Happy Trading

re timelines

This version has timelines in it...

You can turn on/off...

tables
timelines
intra-day lines
babylines
yesterday's close

choose which colours you want

play with original settings fractals or with newer settings (experimental)

The timelines are a first for this type of indicator so if anyone out there can improve on what's already been done then please do so and post for all to use.

Happy Trading
