Best,
My brain ....

You know that the best indicator is the one that suit your trading style. If you like snake indicators, I think you can find better signals by using good old bollinger and ma 10 (instead snakeborders) and MACD (instead snakeforce, depending the settings you use in it)

Anyway, right now I am playing with the indicator showed in the attachment. Nothing new, just using it in more creative way.

You're rite about Mr. and Mrs. Snake. They are all repaint the past. It mess up my ea in this couple of days. Yeah, I am too still using standard indicator at my best. Stochastic and RVI with a little bit tweak are my current interest

Cheers,

He he he i think the best is to go with old indicators because no many use them and they try to make custome indicators that means a + pips to us

I have searched hundreds of indicators, none seem to do the impossible, (tell the future)!!!! There has got to be a better way, all indicators seem to lag, they all seem to not tell you much more than if you just looked at the chart.

It seems to me that a strategy without an indicator would be optimal. Anybody have any good ideas to share?

also interesting

D. Dorsi's Mass Index; codebase, MQL site

Mass Index designed to identify reversals trends on the basis of changes in the width of the range between the maximum and minimum prices. If range expanding, mass index increases, if shrinking, index declined.

Reversal bulge formes when 25-period mass index rises higher 27, then drops below 26.5.
