Under the inputs you can set the Alert Count to the amount of alerts you want to receive.
The Default is 500. So this can be set to user preference.
I didn't have a change to trade today so I will actively start live testing on Monday
I think that is where the problem lies, I set it to 2 and got no alerts, I will try disabling the number of alerts in the code and will try it again next week, I think it might be a good indicator and worth persuing
I did test on min 5 alert
an it seemed fine. I also haven't seen any exit signals. I personally have the mind set to apply TP and SL. Check out the Isakas KusKus along with this indi.
Still had no responce from the author. If we can drop him a mail, maybe he will join us waddahattar@hotmail.com
Okay guys here is what I think is going on and how to use it.
Since we are waiting for the Author, let get this done will he arrives
From looking at the code, it looks like an mix between Standard MACD and iBands Displayed as a seperate window flat indicator.
So the Green and Red lines correspond with MACD
The Sienna line looks like it indicating the explosive price power
The Blue line indicated the dead zone - no trade.
All logic seems to be looking at the Close price
So Green is Buy and Red is Sell.
If Green is above Blue and Siena - Signal Buy
If Red is above Blue and Siena - Signal Sell
Exit
Exit the Open Buy when Green goes below Blue Dead Zone.
Exit the Open Sell when Red goes below Blue Dead Zone.
Now this is where it bothers me, because it is a very sensitive indicator. I am more concerned at this stage with false exits than false trade signals.
I see the Exit signal in the code and the alerts are true, but I still don't grasp the rules that need to apply to trigger it. I might grasp it after a week of testing. Started on Thursday night and didn't trade on Friday. So give me a bit more time and we can revise this.
If you guys differ from my views please add any comments. I really have no problem with being wrong or corrected.
Thank you for the explaination. We appreciate your time.
I hope you enjoy the forum. There are some great guys working very hard to produce excellent indicators and EA's.
- horizental dot line ( Dead Zone ) .. it work a filter for weak signals and no alert when the red or green histogram under it .
- red histogram shows the current down trend .
- green histogram shows the current up trend .
- yellow line shows the explosion in price up or down .
signal for buy :
- when green histo goes up and yellow line goes up and green histo is higher than yellow line and all is higher dot line .
signal for exit buy :
- you can exit buy when green histo down lower yellow line .
signal for sell :
- when red histo goes up and yellow line goes up and red histo is higher than yellow line and all is higher dot line .
signal for exit sell :
- you can exit sell when red histo down lower yellow line .
