I have a question: do you know if the SHI_SilverTrendSig indicator repaints the past? It must, for the signals to be so good, but I am just asking to be sure.

There has been an incredible interest in channel trading especially in the Forex Factory forum by Orange Roshan. After going through the channel trading, zig zag, high/low etc. I find myself a bit confused. Can someone just post the "bread and butter" of channel trading? I mean what would be a simple and effective set up of indicators that a noob and start with and grow from.
Any help on this question. How can I see previous channels in addition to current Shi channel on any chart?

There is some old classic method about how to use the channel indicator Channel trading system
It is really very old method modified by many people. Last modification was made by Tartan (the author of Goldwarrior EA): he kept live real account with some forum showing live results of real trading by this method during the more than 1 year.
There are many EAs based on channel trading: hara-kiri EA by Tartan (for MT3) and two EAs posted in Metaquotes website (Russian version) are also very good.
Besides you may see the thread namely "level trading" (take a search - do not remember location sorry). It is most recent modification.
