New Zigzags

Sorry to ask but are there any "simple" zigzag?

I mean all zigzag inicators for MT are made with the same code or the same with slighty variations, there is no really difference between the code of one version called X and the other called Z, just make up.

My opinion excludes FX_SNIPER2 piece of excellent work.

New version (202) of MT comes with an improved code but is almost the same.

I´m using the old Tradestation zigzag which have only one input "percent wave". So you decide what you want, reversal of 5%, 2% 14&, completely easy. Without ExtDepth, ExtDeviation, ExtBackstep

BTW, I appreciate if somebody can explain what are these inputs and how they work

. There is no manual, there is nothing.

That indicator was not created by FXSNIPER2.

Yes, Codersguru - very nice indeed, but it's defaulted as 0 when you d/l the indicator.

Yes the the default back is 0 but it should be 1. I'll check this in the next version and add alert when the price breaks the channel!

Maybe you consider this alert.wav file, it lasts for 10.71 seconds, only 26k in size so it does not tie up resources. Just unzip it & drop into metatrader4/sounds dir.

The problem with the zigzags seems to be the repainting, if this member reckons this does not repaint, couldnt someone fix it so it displays the zigzags?

For sure the ZigZag is repainting because it simply find the Highest and Lowest peaks of the price and those H/L change overthe time!

But in the trend breaking trading method you have not to care about that!
