Maybe it is time to end the everlasting "does it repaint" dispute about any variation or implementation of Ehlers' Fisher Transform on Metatrader
Two versions of Ehlers' Fisher Transform : the "classical" one and the histogram version
Both are coded exactly the same way the originals are
The biggest difference among these two and other "non repainting" ones is the way maximum and minimum are searched for : from original it is clear that those are searched for within chosen price, not within highs and lows (when not done that way peaks that are clearly defined in these indicators are lost, and thus one of the most useful informations from this indicator is lost)
And no, none of these two indicators does not repaint

Hi, wise words.
I would like to add something. The main problem seems to be the old "I don´t like to read".
I´m saying this because all confusion had begin with some versions of one indicator (wrongly)called Fisher and sometimes with other called Fisher Yur4ik, both indicator have nothing to do real Fisher and of course that repaints. But these versions where heavily discussed demonstrating that repaints not only by backtest, also for expert coders too.
But because this indicators promised to see the future at first contact (also called miracle indicator) had high impact that the real one thought by John Ehlers and explained in the book Rocket Science for Traders.
We have discussed this indicator since the first days of 2006 trying to banish the wrong ones and still same question is coming and going, coming and going.
Maybe we need to go one step further a just delete the versions which are wrong. But this is not the forum style. At least if we read the thread we have an example of a bad coding.
exactly, Linux - delete it - it will pop -up again and again, change name form and shape....
people want to believe in miracles (i don't, but i believe in Santa Claus)
Anyone knows how to calculate the center of gravity of a currency movement?
i find a great system that a high forex professional use it but the problem that its based on the center of gravity of a currency movement and i still dont know how to calculate it.
in the picture: the black line is the center of gravity and the other lines are when to buy when to sell and when to stop loss and tke profit.
As Igorad already explained in this post http://www.forex-tsd.com/179205-post56.html, the indicator from your post is a Polynomial Regression Line + ... (originally developed by ang - the original posted here as well. Notice that ang never did call it a "Center of gravity" Center of gravity is a completely different indicator)
btw: be very careful with the use of the indicator you posted - it is going to change itself constantly (ang is too good a mathematician and a coder in order to use the ugly word "repaint" but that is exactly what it is going to do)
