Simba,
I've followed Ehlers for years, spent 100s of hours working with his stuff in Tradestation, more hours trying to digest his books and articles in TASC, modified his stuff aplenty ...and I could not give a reply nearly as good as the one you gave in post 21. I would not change a word of it.

Hello:

There is a code problem with the indicators posted by bluto, and also with Cyan indicators comes from Damiani directly.

Iīm trying to cantact him. There is no a live or dead problem, the indicator will work good (?) anyway.

The quote from mql:

Quote:
Note: It is not recommended to initialize index buffers in the custom indicator init() function as such functions are initialized automatically with an "empty value" at allocation and re-allocation of buffers.
This are my attempts to clean the code of some version.

Unfortunately test cyber cicle takes a lot of time because not works with tester. Seems to be ok.

RVI comes by default with MT installation. Differences are minimal (really minimal). Seems to be ok.

Center of gravity: there are several versions, IMHO, Luis made the most close with Ehlers description, there is another one made by Rosh recently and is very good.

I donīt like the version of Fisher Transform, I prefer the one made by Igorad because IMHO is identical to Ehlers description.

I canīt fix the error with FishStoch, aka Fisher Transform for CCO, COGO or RVI.mq4
Maybe Igorad or Kalenzo can fix it.
The problem is if I remove the ArrayInitialize the indicator does not paint, if i donņt remove the Array I have the error.

Wake up all night try to find a solution was a waste of time.
Attached Files
File Type: mq4 TSD_CyAn_4_Cyber Cycle.mq4 (3.5 KB, 638 views)
File Type: mq4 TSD_CyAn_5_CG Oscillator.mq4 (3.2 KB, 604 views)
File Type: mq4 TSD_CyAn_6_RVI.mq4 (3.2 KB, 590 views)

Hi Linuxer, thanks for explanations.

Do you think you could do us all a favor and, since you seem to have tested all of these great indicators, make a post with all the indicators (or links to them) that you consider final and ready to use? Plus a list of those that you think have bugs, so that someone who is able to fix them can do so?
I would really like to help but I'm not a very skilled MQL4 programmer nor a skilled interpreter of Ehlers science

Thanks very much

My previous post have the indicators Iīve tested after a mini modification in the code to avoid the little error explained.

Anyway, CyberCicle have a bug. It works, but with some time the line becomes flat and you have to move between TF to display correctly.

COG you can use the posted version Itīs ok, also Iīve checked with another 3 platforms.

You can use default MT RVI.

Fisher Transform or FishStoch have the inherent problem of cybercyle painting problem. You have to move between TF.

There are lot more indicator which attempts to duplicate what Ehlers wrote for Tradestation.
Some of them are clones, other are a completely disaster.

You need to be careful (I guess is the 50th time I said the same) and before trust blindly make a hard comparison.
If you donīt have the book or article in where the indicator is explained. And/or you donīt know anything or a little about MQL4 do what I do: compare with a another 2 or 3 charting software (eSignal, TS, Teletrader, VTS, etc).
Because almost 80% of this indicator are published in SFO or S&C magazines with the code cheeked by the makers.

Look at the StochRSI for MT, no one of the versions for MT are ok. However the Instantaneous Trend Line in Metaeditor Database itīs ok.

iFish made by Kalenzo is master piece.

etc etc etc.
