I would like to be told, if exist an alarm to the Laguerre-ACS1 with showing crossings. I was looking but donīt found. There are several Laguerres with alarms indicators, but I donīt see Laguerre-ACS1 with alarm with displaying the crosses. If you know if exist tell me please in what place, if not, I like someone could do it, I be very grateful.
I put 4 examples of indicators in the image:
Laguerre
Laguerre-ACS1
Laguerre RSI
Laguerre+Alert
All the following parameters:
Gamma: 0.6
Levels: 0.85, 0.15 and 0.5 (does anyone know why in this indicators put level of 0.45? There should be a reason but I donīt understand).
MA: 2 (in the case of Laguerre and Laguerre RSI can not be scheduled. In the case of Laguerre+alert I tried 0,1,2,3,4,5,6 none matches with Laguerre-ACSI with MA: 2).
Why I ask this? If they see the image Laguerre-ACS1 work better than the others that generate a lot of noise and errors.
I hope that someone, from the amazing community of Forex-TSD, can help me.
If I remember correctly, Laguerre-ACS1 addition is a simple moving average smoothing of Laguerre RSI. So the SMA is introducing additional lag that original Laguerre RSI does not have.
If someone wants a smoothed indicator, in my opinion, there are far better ways of smoothing than SMA (one does not have to go far from Ehlers : a two or three pole smoother for example can do the job)

As of gama and levels : original settings by Ehlers (from "Time Warp - Without Space Travel") for Laguerre RSI are 0.5 for gama and 0.2 and 0.8 for levels. Variations of these parameters are simply results of experiments. After all parameters are there to be experimented with (depends what are you looking for). Also, in the original Laguerre RSI there is no smoothing at all
PS: smoothing applied in the Laguerre RSI from fxb's post from above (post#46) is the one proposed by Ehlers too (see the attached document). Maximum level of smoothing in it is 3
