colour changing moving average please

I know this indicator is out there somewhere, I just can't find it. I'm looking for a Moving Average indicator that changes colour according to its slope (example, green for upslope, red for downslope, blue for neutral).

I have found an indicator that does this on the metatrader website, but it does not allow you to change the MA period, nor does it allow you to change between EMA, SMA, close, mid, etc.

If anyone could point me to such an indicator I would really appreciate it.

Thanks in advance.

Does nobody have a lead for me? I thought that such an indicator would be easy to get.

close but...

Thanks Nigel, I appreciate you posting that indicator.

The Indicator you posted is a Least Squares Moving Average, not a "regular" moving average, but the way the colours change is exactly what I'm looking for.

The LSMA intrigues me though, I'll have to learn how to use it.

But in the meantime if anyone can point me to an EMA that changes colour in a similar manner I'd really appreciate it.

Try this http://www.forex-tsd.com/17146-post11.html

I fixed and modified slightly well-known indicator. I think it is what you need.

Thank you so much

Thank you very much for posting that MA. It looks like it's what I need, however the colours don't seem to match to the slope. Do the colours mean something else?

I thought that green would indicate upslope, red downslope, etc. But when I look at the indicator on my charts, sometimes the slope is up and it's red, sometimes down and green, etc.

Can you please explain what the colours are?

Upon closer inspection it appears that the colours always alternate the same way, that is blue, green, red. Also the length of each colour segment appears to be the same. I have "grid" enabled on my charts and on the 1hr it looks like each colour segment is 5 gridsquares long.

Thank you.
