Looks good, I think it's usually a good idea to take profits when the nmr re-enters the bands.

The difference between this, and a regular ema is that the ratio is calculated dynamically.

If we were able to get the full package, does anyone here have any idea whats's
involved in converting Tradestation code to Metatrader?

Dustin

Well, I have the whole package and would not mind donate it for good meta programming. Also have the dvd with the course and in that course the very most important indicator, where everything is depending on is only the NMC and the NMC2. That are the ones! Not the other ocean indicators.

yes, I think mladen said something about that.. he had a revised version that worked which also accepted user input, though I deleted from my inbox. I'll see if he has anything to post here. D

mladen fix

mladen's version ironed out my code and now accepts user input and smoothing. 0=no smoothing 1=smooth 2=smoother

mladen was responsible for that indicator. my strategy is to simply use the nma and nmr on all timeframes to determine trend and attach "makegrid ea" set "want longs" or "want shorts" accordingly in direction with the trend.
