Identifying bars

The data given back from the ADX indicator supplied with MT4 does not give correct values if you compare to the original calculations done J.Welles Wilder Jr in his book "New Concepts in Technical Trading Systems" In fact it seems that there are quite a few different implementations. the one in MT4 seems to differ more than other. So I decided to write one. Now Wilders method for calculation does not readily adapt itself to MT4 maily due to the fact that the MT Indicator gets invoked several times for the same bar.
Is there a way to discover if I get a new bar or if I get an update for the last bar?

If "Bars - IndicatorCounted() == 1", then the invocation is due to a chart update of bar 0.

If "Bars - IndicatorCounted() == 2", then the invocation is for the chart shift that happens when a new bar is started.

If "Bars - IndicatorCounted() > 2", then the invocation is an initial invocation, for whatever UnInitializedReason() says the reason is.

My post "Identifying bars" moved to cyberspace

I recently posted a message in this forum "Identifying bars". When I look at it it says "Moved" and it says moved to "filter indicators". So I click on it and end up in a thread of 9 pages. The latest entry there is from 11-23-2007. I cant find my entry

???

Thanks Linuxser,

Something must be wrong since clicking on my heading in the originally posted entry (where it says "Moved") does not take me here. People interested in the posting are mislead. I can also question the reasons for moving the postings since it is not mainly about the actual indicator but how to identify if it is data for a new bar or an update to the last bar. Clearly a "programming" question.

Let´s say we´re using ADX at 14 periods

ADXR= (ADX[1]+ADX[14])/2
