It may be best for you to draw the fib lines with the tool in order to locate the clusters...

If I can, I would suggest that you start three time frames higher than the one you work with....

It will take only a few minutes to locate the significant clusters by doing so.

I hope that helps.

Thanks for your replys.

Poruchik

I have used the fib settings you highlighted but was hoping to learn more about how others use this along with the zig zag which also looks to show some fib numbers. I guess what Im looking for is others who use it highlight fib areas maybe sharing a template or showing good ways to use it..

Blaiserboy

I monitor up to 16 ccy pairs and trade Price action so to manually map all pairs is what I already do do but I would like the computer to do this for me.

I like to look for candle patterns at areas of confluence of Fibs/SR/MAs so would use it in this capacity.

cheers all

seems pretty complex to me, I just trade two pairs, I seem to keep busy with that...

Perhaps you will have to develop a couple indicators yourself or customize a couple..... I did see one where it would plot the fibs....... perhaps you could locate that and modify it to keep certain lines on the chart eg those with .6a8....... if you have too many, there will be substantial clutter

I will look to see if I have the indicator I mentioned..... I have no idea as to how to modify it, but you may have the resources to do so....

Zup Giving Different Results with same settings

Hello everyone,
I downloaded a version of ZUPv71 and dragged it onto two identical charts and did not change any settings but the results look different (see attached screen shot) Why are they different?

WRR_ZUP_INFOv02 - ZUP Gartley Pattern Alerts and Screen Shots

In response to a number of requests, I have re-written my ZUP_v67.01_WRR_ZUP_INFO.mq4 indicator to make it compatible with multiple versions of ZUP and fix some bugs in it. I am calling this new indicator WRR_ZUP_INFO_v02.mq4.

This indicator also needs the ZUP indicator on the chart set up to show Gartley patterns for it to work.

The main purposes for, and features of, the WRR_ZUP_INFO indicator are as follows. It will display a text block saying what type of pattern ZUP has made (Gartley, Butterfly, Bat or Crab), if the pattern has “failed,” if there is no pattern, what timeframe or period the chart is on and the chart instrument or pair. The text block also indicates the risk for the trade and the range in which the pattern is valid or somewhat valid. The text block can be moved anywhere on any window including indicator sub-windows.

It will alert when there is a pattern change. It will draw a 100% fib expansion on Gartleys to show if there is an AB=CD confirmation. It will allow one to change the background property and colours of the D Point Rectangle drawn by ZUP. It will also allow one to automatically and instantly make a screen shot every time a new pattern forms, fails or there is no pattern, then save it to a file.

See this page for details.

Price Patterns(Gartley,Butterfly,Bat,...)

WRR

Help

I'm using the ZUP indicator, while it's an excellent one, it use a lots computer resource, esp. when attached more than one onto different charts, the computer will become very slow, so , just wondering if it is possible to split zup into several parts, e.g. I would like to have that part including 'Andrews Pitchfork and micmed Channels' to be in a single one, that's the part I use the most, could anyone do this for me, thank you very much in advance!
