I recommend you read threads here and elsewhere that focus on actual trades. You'll see that most people are trading some combination of breakouts or pullbacks with sound money management (the other kind of thread you should read). Then, read threads that discuss various brokers and the costs associated with trading and how to manage them.

was gonna reply to the ''how to use mt4'' thread but i decided to say the ''compleat day trader'' book one and two.. is a good starter i read that 10yrs ago and its older than that... will explain the basic indicators that mt4 uses and then some..stoch pops, basics of ma's,,, begining day breakouts ect..most of all the mentals of trading... can download it in the section of books
