China - Nothing new, what was there to forecast? Domestic production heading offshore - Begs the question... to which country? It's always been the same, man will go where it's cheaper to build. It's no big secret and all terribly simple.

Government? Well you know what they say about religion and politics. Steer clear unless you want to get in a big bru-ha-ha. They're pretty much all crook and sadly the few that hope to
Again.....blatantly obvious and nothing new if you decide to walk around with your eyes open.

Dear Archer, seems youīre a little skeptic about out chit chat. And you prefer to only attack other members opinion then just read and forget as we (main of us, educated people, and large contributors of this forum) do. If we disagree, we post why, not only "Iīm not agree ".
The good way: We/I disagree because facts/links/books/author/research/etc...

Have you go to some academic institution?

Have you know the rules of debate?

And about your opinion over Politics/Politicians and Government.

First, you need distinguish one form the other, politicians are not government and government are not politicians.

Starting by this simple fact, then you need to choose one or many of the different schools as you feel closer (you can include Heidegger or Marx) with stop in Machiavelli 500 years old work, but no without forget a complete reading of "The republic" by Plato and other classics.
Then we need to stop in French post revolution school to find a big key about the role of politicians in industrial age: Politicians are a society mirror, and a society needs them like water.
In our world with continuous interest conflicts politician is mediator, a peace maker. Whatever people can say it only has one job: resolve conflicts by negotiation and if it fails to impose its will choosing a side.

And Government, dear Archer, it's a method to organize the society.

Politics, exists not only in government, they exist in companies, social clubs, meetings, etc etc etc.

Just that simple.

This kind of confusion is often the results of bad media consumption (as you mentioned).

So. I have one more question. Can you tell me a little a more about this book?

Yes Linuxser?

Linuxser

Relax and act like the educated person you profess to be.

The questions you ask I need not answer because 1) It is unlikely you will believe anything I have to say and among a plethora of other reasons 2) I am quite assured in the fact that I need not answer to the likes of you.

Having said this I shall be polite if you afford me the same courtesy. I assume your bad English is due to it not being your native tongue rather than result of poor education?

I have gone to University and for your information I am quite aware that 'Politics' does not just encompass the realms of government but rather many a latitude in life.

If you want to know about the book and haven't and ulterior motive for asking, you can either PM me or check a website review.

Anyone can recommend me a book about how 'the world works' ?

I know that news that create spikes don't exists(works) anymore, at least to people like me (small trader), but I still believe that fundamental drives economy, such as china story, I still read long-term investment newsletter, but feels that it affects little to my trading, did I read them incorrectly ?

I just want to focus on forex first and have a working system and move to other instruments.

Ever since I learned forex, I begin to like physcological books such as Trading in the zone, the dog story is an easy to understand example.

Linuxser - Books

Linuxser

It takes a big man to admit when he's 'wrong'.

I mixed up the authors of these two books (both of which I have and are great reads) but it was the Mark Douglas outlook that is a definite 're-read'.

Trading in the Zone - Mark Douglas (Psychology and confidence)
Trading for a Living - Alexander Elder (Same vein but a different 'bent' including MM and also trading methods)

Ok. Archer no problem.

Debate rules. Forget and going to next because you don't want to bore spectators.

My questions probably created some confusion.

When I ask: Have you go to some academic institution?

Is to know whatīs your profile. Economics? Law? Literature? Thatīs helps me a lot to understand how is the guy in other side.

According to formation there are difference between open minds and closed ones. Doctor (like surgeon) are quite closed to some thoughts. Meanwhile people coming from Philosophy or Arts are more open to new thoughts.

Also, If the guy studied Biology you canīt answer talking strictly about Economics.

I want to point one important things. And Iīm sure you agree with me: Education has not any relation with Academic formation. As same with social level, purchase power or whatever.

We see this everyday, some homeless are more educated than some lawyers, some employees are more educated than they employers and ... the list could grow up a lot.

Bi.

Yes about my English, itīs poor and too poor depending on how I feel (stressed, tired). Sometimes, under heavy pressure, itīs good.

It took me a couple years to learn, by myself.
