double exponencial

Hi guys,

I need your help with this problem. In VisualTrading I was using this settings of MAs:

Indicator1:= 2 * mov(close,7,s) - mov(mov(close,7,s),7,s);
Indicator2:= 2 * mov(close,19,w) - mov(mov(close,19,w),19,w);

which is called double exponencial a gave me good entries. As Iīm trying now to work with MT I would like to transform this code to MQL language. Can anybody help me?

Thanks and enjoy your day
GM

We have several threads about double exponential moving average.

I almost secure by clicking on "Search" and entering what are you looking or need, DEMA in your case, in most of cases you donīt need to start a new thread.
Unless your search is not giving any results of what you exactly needs which is strange.

My current signature "Do the Androids dream with the electric sheep?" is about Philip Kindred Dick (better know as Philllip K Dick) book.
One of the best science fiction book from late golden era of SciFi.
The Blade Runner movie, a 80īs classic and a "you must see", is based on that novel.
Also, a lot of hot movies are inspired by his novels. Off course, itīs impossible to compare 90 minutes of images with 500 pages book.
In movies, the authorīs idea is often a distortion or a hair cut. But is a good point to start.

Itīs message for some people not for all.

It was such a bad joke from me with the android - donīt take me serious

Anyway i still need help with transformation of this part of code:
Indicator1:= 2 * mov(close,7,s) - mov(mov(close,7,s),7,s);
Indicator2:= 2 * mov(close,19,w) - mov(mov(close,19,w),19,w);

Itīs taken from VT and i would like to use it in MT but am not able to "translate it". I appreciate any suggestion.

Happy trading and enjoy your day

And the DEMA has been already coded for MT.

DEMA - Double Exponential Moving Average

Test MrPip version (post 13) or plot two times my dema version with 7/19 values.
